Week 31 Review: It's Not Summer Without You

From Goodreads:
Can summer be truly summer without Cousins Beach? It used to be that Belly counted the days until summer, until she was back at Cousins Beach with Conrad and Jeremiah. But not this year. Not after Susannah got sick again and Conrad stopped caring. Everything that was right and good has fallen apart, leaving Belly wishing summer would never come.

But when Jeremiah calls saying Conrad has disappeared, Belly knows what she must do to make things right again. And it can only happen back at the beach house, the three of them together, the way things used to be. If this summer really and truly is the last summer, it should end the way it started--at Cousins Beach.

My Review:
It was utterly fantastic to read this book! I enjoyed it so much, having more time with Belly, Jeremiah and Conrad again! I know that there's still one more book, and yeah, I can't wait to get to it, because this was a pretty great one!

This book was slightly confusing, in the back and forth of the past and the present, the switches were a bit off, and keeping track of the order that things happened in, well, it was hard to keep the order of events straight in my head.

So yeah, there were some hard events in this book, with Susannah sick and dying, to the funeral, and just after it was pretty hard to read, for the characters, and all that. And the break up scene was pretty hard to read, too!

This book is the middle of the series. There's been a book, there's this, and there's going to be another. And this one is bridging the gap between the two, and it doesn't have a sophomore slump. There's hard, emotional stuff that happens in it!

Really enjoyed this book so much, it was really fantastic, and I just want to read the last book now!
