How far will you go for perfection?
For "Perfect Paige" Westfield, today is "D" Day. As in, she just got one on her calculus test. With her dreams of Stanford, her reputation, and her parents' expectations at stake, Paige needs to find a way to save face before everything she's worked for goes up in flames.
Ben Franklin (yes, he's related) is from the wrong side of town, with the wrong clothes and the wrong kind of life. He also knows an opportunity when he sees one, and he'll be happy to tutor Paige—if she makes him into the kind of guy her best friend, the hottest girl in school, will date.
It's the perfect arrangement. And Paige is determined not even the inconvenient—and utterly imperfect—attraction simmering between her and Ben will ruin it…
My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book! It was a lot of fun, and I've really enjoyed Kendra C. Highley's books, and this was another fantastic one! I'm so glad that it's now a series, so we'll be able to have another happy ending for Zoey!
This was a really fun book! To have an exchange of making him over so he'd be appealing for her best friend in exchange for calculus tutoring? What could go wrong with that? Of course, she's a better match for him, as they discover!
A good deal of this book is about the stress that Paige is under, to get good grades to get into Stanford, and then become a scientist/doctor like her dad. But she wants to help them in a more personal, one on one way. So yeah, that was going on!
For some reason, I though that they would deny themselves for longer. They did do it for about the middle of this book, but yeah, I'm glad that they got together-and we could see some drama there before things all worked out! So yeah, that was great!
Such a great, enjoyable book! I loved it, and I can't wait to read Defying Gravity!
