My Review:
Awesome story! Loved being in the BAD universe again, though Joe and Tee still need a book! And I really enjoyed these 2, they had great chemistry, and they had 2 big problems in their way-she was adopted into a Canadian mob family while he works for the law, and that some really bad people know about the chip that she has, but didn't know she had until they went after it.
So yeah, there's all that. And the fact that said Canadian mob family, the brothers, are over protective, and basically would like her to end up with a guy opposite him. Sorry, people, that I've forgotten your names, since they're not right in front of me!
The bad guys were pretty cruel, and that they were working together to bring down another family who'd brought about a big bust, and who were incriminated in a recording that was on the chip, well, the people who got taken down, well, they really wanted that chip!
I loved their plan on how to get everybody out, it was very ingenious, using all that they had to get everybody out safely, and yeah, it was really quite clever, even though they didn't know if he was going to make it out alive, he did, so yeah!
Yeah, loved this short story, really good, and I really hope for more!
