First Lines Friday #4, August 5th

First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.
  • Grab your current read(s)
  • Share the first line(s)
  • Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists

"This isn't what I expected death to be like. Not that I thought about it much. Or at all. For the record, it isn't completely horrible. Being dead actually has perks. Nobody tells me what to do. I don't get hungry, though I do miss calzone. I don't even need sleep. Or deodorant..I think. Best of all, being a spirit means I'm no longer bound by a physical body so I'm free to travel to places and see things I could only imagine before. There. I said it. Spirit. I'm a spirit. 'Dead" refers to what I was. 'Spirit' is what I am." -Morpheus Road The Black by D. J, MacHale

And that's about it. I'm going to be starting Rooms, soon, but yeah. What about you guys? Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
