First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.
-Grab your current read(s)
-Share the first line(s)
-Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists.
"It was cold. Not so cold that Yuri Platkov would not do that which he had promised himself to do if the man was still sitting on the bench in front of the path into Btsevsky Park. It was cold, but the boy could detect a faint drifting fall of moisture from the dark sky. The man was still sitting there." -A Whisper to the Living by Stuart M. Kaminsky
Well, that does not sound very nice! What about you guys? Happy reading!

Hmmm, I have questions from the first line. Who is the man still sitting there? What did he promise himself?
ReplyDeleteThose are first lines that really keep you reading to find out.
Oh, just one of the main characters :) And the boy promised that he'd check on the man if he was still there to see if he was ok :) and yes they are :)
