Mara Dyer once believed she could run from her past.
She can't.
She used to think her problems were all in her head.
They aren't.
She couldn't imagine that after everything she's been through, the boy she loves would still be keeping secrets.
She's wrong.
In this gripping sequel to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, the truth evolves and choices prove deadly. What will become of Mara Dyer next?
My Review:
I enjoyed this book so much! It was so great to be back with Mara and Noah again, just so good, and yeah, after that cliffhanger of Unbecoming, yeah, that just helped create this book into such a masterpiece!
There are a lot of possibilities in this book. Like Jude. And her brother. And Jamie! Whether they're good or bad people to do things, well, time will tell. Well, for her brother and Jamie. For Jude, we know he's a bad guy-he tried to rape Mara, for goodness sake!
So Mara's mind is not the safest place to be, because between the memories that seem to be her grandmother's-promoting a book about genetic memory-and her forgetfulness, and sleep walking, yeah. But then when you add in Horizons, and the people there-including Jamie, yeah, that's something!
And another cliffhanger ending! I swear, Michelle Hodkin likes to torture both her characters, and us readers! And this one is even worse then Unbecoming, because Noah is gone, and there is a possibility that he's dead. And we don't like that at all!
I enjoyed this book so much, it was so good, and yeah, I can't wait for the 3rd and final book!
