My Review:
Loved reading these books so much! Amanda Hocking is definitely an author that I'm going to be looking for now, which is always a good thing, there can never be too many books! And wow, were these great books!
No sophomore slump here! And then I was able to just go right on for the next and last book, which was really fantastic! Loved that so much, because it went in a direction that I totally didn't see coming, but worked out just so well!
I think my favourite part of reading these books, was the short stories in them, which meant that we were spending more time in this world, seeing different bits. And I have to say, the short story in the end of Ascend is my favourite!
There were a lot of twists and turns-and kidnappings-and Wendy dealt with them, and grew from a regular human girl, to a Trylle princess, then Queen and leader. I wasn't expecting all the twists (like her picking Loki) but yeah, that choice worked for it!
Really enjoyed this trilogy a lot, it was really entertaining, and I can't wait to read more books by Amanda Hocking!
