Teaser Tuesday #58, May 15th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today's teaser comes from Embrace by Jessica Shirvington, page 1.

"But it is the one day each year that at some point I'll be forced to ask myself, Was it worth it? Was my life worth taking hers?"

Oh, that doesn't sound too good! Poor characters, and what that day is! What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. Dang! You are right, that doesn't sound good at all! :) Some tough choices there. My teaser is from Shades of Grey by Michael Cargill: http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/2012/05/15/teaser-tuesdays-may-15/#comment-48346

  2. Yeah, I guess most people who took someone else's life would question it... maybe more than once a year!
My Teaser is here (Sandy's Teaser), along with a related movie trailer.

  6. Well, you don't really have a choice in being born, her birth, well, it was complicated or something, and her mom died. So that puts a whole dimmer on the whole birthday celebration that people are supposed to get. And she's not going to have a good day!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
