Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.
As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near-misses end with the French kiss Anna - and readers - have long awaited?
My Review:
This was such a fun, light, enjoyable book! Loved it so much, a quick read, and I just enjoyed Anna and Etienne's story! It's just so cute! And the conflict is emotional stuff, not life and death, and that was a nice change!
This is one of the first books that I can remember, that's set in Paris. I'm sure I've read other books that are set there, but I can't remember them, besides the Remnants series by Amy Plum. So yeah, it was really nice to explore Paris in this book!
I just enjoyed all these characters in this book, they were unique, quirky, and fun, and I just enjoyed reading about them! Like Etienne, who is pretty good looking, but shorter then Anna? Not something he can change, but it was how he was written, and it's a part of him! Just enjoyed it a lot!
This was a really fantastic book, I really enjoyed it, and I can't wait for more!
