Nastasya has lived for hundreds of years, but for some reason, life never seems to get any better. She left her spoiled, rich girl life to find peace at River's Edge, a safe haven for wayward immortals. There, she learned to embrace River's Edge, despite some drama involving the sexy Reyn, who she wants but won't allow herself to have. But just as she's getting comfortable, her family's ties to dark magick force her to leave.
She falls back into her old, hard partying ways, but will her decision lead her into the hands of a dark immortal? Or will it be her first step to embracing the darkness within her?
My Review:
Oh, dear, how I loved this book so much! Nastasya was just so sarcastic and witty with such awesome lingo, and it picks up pretty quickly after Immortal Beloved, and yeah, it was just so good! It's definitely one of my most favourite books!
So things are evolving here, because both her and Reyn know a bit more about their past history together, and while they still romantically have a spark, well, that history is a bit of a downer, and is why Nastasya went on the spiral in the first place, and is now trying to put her back on that path!
There was more action in this book, it was definitely not a filler middle book, and yeah, lots of this action, it was a bit hurtful, because there was words thrown about. But yeah, those words opened wounds, and hopefully, helped drain them, so they could heal properly!
Really enjoyed this book, it was just so addicting, and yeah, I really can't wait for the 3rd and final book!
