Week 9 Review: Jessica's Guide to Dating the Dark Side

From Goodreads:
The undead can really screw up your senior year ...

Marrying a vampire definitely doesn’t fit into Jessica Packwood's senior year "get-a-life" plan. But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian vampire princess by birth—and he's her long-lost fiancé. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire's Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess. But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war—and save Lucius's soul from eternal destruction.

My Review:
I enjoyed this book so much! It was so entertaining, and awesome! I mean, Lucius, and how she introduces him to American Pop culture, yeah, that was an experience! He did chance in this book, and seeing that, was a bit bittersweet, because he was pretty awesome in the beginning!

There was struggle for the romance, and against it, because she didn't know that she was a vampire, that she was pledged to marry Lucius when she was young, and yeah, he's being told to do this by his uncles. Who are really creepy!

That ending? Where they thought they killed him? That mob mentality, not fun at all! But then she goes to him in his castle, and things are all good! I enjoyed that so much! It was a really fantastic ending, and yeah, they're going to have a future!

There was just so much humour in this book where appropriate, and I just enjoyed it so much! I can't wait for more!

  2. Yep :) Thought she doesn't marry him until between the 2 books :) Really great short story :) And it'll be up hopefully soon, but I'm over 3 months behind. That's over 100 books to review. So swamped!
