Teaser Tuesday #34, November 29th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today's teaser comes from Soulstice by Simon Holt, page 18.

"The boy slowly lifted up a severed ear and pressed it against the windowpane. Blood dribbled out of it and down the glass."

Well, that isn't creepy at all!

And from my own book, Alone I Am Not, page 2.

"But whatever I could do, I was going to do. However much life had been twisted around, ground in the dust, spit on until there was just nothing but a speck left, it just kept going."

What about you guys? Happy reading!

Today's teaser comes from The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin, page 17.

"'Now we're going to have to dodge crap from the whole flock.'

'Murder.'"

That sounds pretty interesting! I want to read more!

And from my own book, Alone I Am Not, page 2,

"Whatever had happened before, was going to have to be set aside, and I was going to fix the mistakes that I’d made. It wouldn't fix everything, but it would make it better."

What about you guys? Happy reading!

Today's teaser comes from My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent, page 2.

"'Come together, stay together, leave together,' I supplied, reciting the same lines we'd repeated each time she snuck us in only twice before. The rules were lame, but I knew from experience that we wouldn't get in without them."

Yeah, agreed, the rules are lame!

And from my own book, Alone I Am Not, page 2,

" They said that the mind was a powerful tool, and that with a powerful will, you had a powerful person. I didn't feel all that powerful, however much complimented on both my mind and my will."

What about you guys? Happy reading!

That is pretty strong stuff! I am really enjoying this book!

And from my own book, Alone I Am Not, page 2.
