OK, so I got 49 posts in 7 days, I read a good number of books, itw as a pretty great week, and I can't wait for next week! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read The Alloy of Law, For the Taking, In a Holidaze, Murder on Cold Street, Revenge & Rapture, and Take Me With You.

Week 40 Review: The Survivor

When a betrayal that shocks Jo to her core threatens to wipe out both Sorrow and human life, Jo must find the strength to speak up once more—and bridge the gaps between all the warring factions—or lose forever the only home left to her.

My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book! I loved the first book, and I just wanted to know where things would go after that evil cliffhanger ending! And it was really great to watch Jo deal with the fact that they don't have a home anymore, and what they had just worked out can't really work anymore.

There's a lot of soul searching in this book, of what's right and what's wrong. They're in a tough situation with the loss of Earth, no place else to go, but they just promised that they would leave Tau Ceti e. And then humans are humans, and violence is added. Bah!

Jo does have to face some really harsh truths in this book about her grandfather. And that was a little hard to read, they did have a close relationship, but he does some pretty awful things in this book. And she grows stronger because of it.

That ending was just spectacular! Jo does have to face her fears, but it was quite unexpected, and I really enjoyed watching things work out, it just came full circle for this duology! I enjoyed this time with these characters and this world! 

This was a really fantastic read, and I can't wait to read more by Bridget Tyler!

Week 15 Review: The Pioneer

My Review:
Reading this book was so fantastic! Being a pioneer on a new planet, that's pretty awesome, though a bit scary. That secret that her mom was keeping though, that just ups the ante! I loved going along with Jo as she explored her new planet!

It's interesting, because the very beginning, there's a pretty intense scene. And then we skip forward in time after the loss of her brother, as well as her ability to pilot. Which basically means that she doesn't have a valuable skill besides general labor. Which gives her plenty of time to explore!

So much was going on, though it did start off slow. Besides the obvious sci fi, there was some romance, because of course! And there was action, because there was danger, and yeah, it was so entertaining to read!

That ending, wow, I should've expected it! After everything that happened, everything that they'd learned, they'd reached an uneasy truce. But with that ending, yeah, I don't know where things are going to go from there! I have so many questions and I can't wait to have them answered!

Loved reading this book, and I'm eager for the sequel!
