The Story: I got Invasion from Book Sneeze, and yeah, it sounded really good, and it was, and I've just really enjoyed the whole trilogy, it was really great!

Domination: Review

My Review:
This was such a fantastic book. While I am sad to say goodbye to these characters, the series was left in a good place, where they are free to have adventures, but the big bad is gone, and, well, the save the world responsibility is over.
While I can't remember exactly where Alienation left off, Domination picks up where the Thule have attacked and the whole "we're not alone in the universe" is done and over. And man, did the pages just fly, with such a compelling story, plus Oz and Danielle were so cute together!
One thing that I personally didn't like was that the ending just ended, there wasn't a lot of after the fact details, beyond that they weren't at war with the Thule anymore. Which left a lot of questions for me like what about Sanctuary, which if you've read the book, then you'll know what I'm talking about.
Other then that, this was a really great book, and a great series, so I hope you guys check it out!

Week 4 Review: Alienation
The invasion was only the beginning . . .
After his parents were killed in a car accident, Colt McAllister was drawn into a world he thought only existed in comic books-one where mind control, jet packs, and flying motorcycles don't even scratch the surface.
Along with his best friends Oz and Danielle, Colt is now training at the secret Central Headquarters Against the Occult and Supernatural academy. But strange accidents seem to follow him. . . even with the security of the school grounds. What first seems random soon turns deadly. But who is targeting Colt?
As the alien invasions increase in frequency and force, C.H.A.O.S resources are taxed to the limit they're forced to utilize the new recruits. In the midst of battle, Colt will discover some startling revelations . . . about himself, his friendship with Oz, and why he has been chosen to defeat this alien attack against earth.
My Review:
I loved this book, so much! It picks up pretty quickly after Invasion, and yeah, right into action, which pretty much never lets up, it's like, bam bam bam, and only a few breaks between that! And it was just awesome!
We learn more about Cole, why he's important, why they think that he's the one that's going to save the world, and all the while Cole's being his smart ass, witty, pretty kick ass self, which is entertaining to see!
We also get stuff about Danielle and Oz, and yeah, not all of it is good, especially Oz, that almost broke my heart, but yeah, it's important, and while I didn't want it to happen, it was enjoyable to read about! What with Oz's dad and all!
Yeah, it started and ended with action, and I have high hopes for the 3rd (and I think last) book in the series!

My Review:
Epic book. Just epic. A bit sad with the deaths, and the hurts, but there's romance, and there's goodness, and it's a genuinely good book! Really enjoyed it!
It's more for the 10-14 boy set, with action, and a boy narrator, but it can still be read by pretty much anybody because it has action, mystery, paranormal/supernatural, and aliens, and if you liked any Stargate movie or show, or Doctor Who, then you'll enjoy this book! It was really good!
Loved the romance, and how it was maybe developing there, which is appropriate given the ages of the characters, and yeah, it was really cute!
There was a lot of heroics, and heroes, and the mentions of WW11 was really nice, and in a way, helped to get used to the horror of the war. The one character survived it, and his missions were made pretty much public knowledge. So I really enjoyed that!
This was a really good book, if a bit boyish for me. Oh, well. I can deal, and I can't wait to read Alienation! Check it out on Amazon!
