Teaser Tuesday #10, June 14th

Today's teaser comes from my ARC of The Surrendered by Chang-Rae Lee, so it might not be from the page on the final edition, or even be in said edition, but it's in mine, and I'm keeping it!!!!

Well, I think that sounds like a good thing!

Today's Teaser comes from The Dark Mirror by Juliet Marillier.

"Nobody worried about Tuala getting lost or falling into trouble. It was as if she carried her own charms of protection, ones that were on the inside" pg. 68.

Well, that sounds pretty nice! Though it sucks that nobody worried about her, she was just a kid!
