24 Hour Reading Challenge 1st June Sign Up

OK, so I got 41 posts in 7 days, there were a lot of double up posts, I read a decent amount, so it was a pretty great week. I got a little behind on blogging though, because on Saturday, I went for the first time to a used book store, one that was over a half an hour away, one way, so that and browsing the shelves, took up some time. So I'm playing a little bit of catch up, but I got some really great books, so I'm happy! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read American Demon, Annie and Fia, Mind Games, Perfect Lies, and Warriors of Wing and Flame.

Week 24 Review: Here, There, Everywhere

My Review:
I had a really great time reading this book. I don't enjoy contemporaries as much as other genres, but this was a really nice, fun read, and I enjoyed Zeus and Rose, and their story! It was a fun YA contemporary with a really sweet story!

Zeus's brother was really awesome! He was one of my favourite characters in this book, and I really enjoyed his story, though it was a little sad, what with his friend at the retirement home. Plus there was that tricky situation...

I really enjoyed watching Zeus and Rose's relationship. It was quirky and fun, and they have to be creative, what with the lack of much of anything to do in a small town, but that just made the memories all the more special, and sweet to read! 

That ending though, that was really unexpected. I mean, it's not like it's unhappy or anything, but it's not a "we'll always be together, no matter what" kind of thing. And I really liked that, it's more realistic, but it wasn't a downer. I really liked it!

This was a really great read, and I had a good time reading it!

Make Your Myth-Taker Readathon 2020 Update 3

So I read my next book of this readathon, and it was Here, There, Everywhere, which is for Secret. I'll be reading The Graveyard Shift next! So this was my secret book, nobody knew what it was, I didn't even mark it as currently reading on Goodreads! But I've finished the book, so the secret is out! I don't know if I'll finish The Graveyard Shift today or not, but hopefully I will, since I have a long work day tomorrow, and won't be by the computer if I finish it then. Oh, well, I'll try my best!

Week 35 Review: The Leveller

My Review:
I enjoyed this book a whole ton load! And I'm so glad that this book is a series, because this book, it was a great introduction, but we were mostly in Wyn's virtual city, and after the revelations of this book, well, something bigger is coming!

Yeah, this was a great intro to the series, because we got introduced to this world, the broad points, and then some pretty specific, but with limited scope, things of this world, so we weren't overwhelmed with details. And it worked out so well! Plus, the adventure they had!

The maze that was built to keep Wyn in, full of fears, from the sharks to the screaming lady, yeah, that was pretty freaky! And that she died over and over there! That sucked, but she did get through it, even if that got her stuck!

Though there is one thing against Wyn's hope for his grandmother. Because the point that Nixy had of ordinary people upgrading their avatar, and then coming back to their imperfections, wouldn't that be like a hundred-fold, if for a person in a wheelchair, if they could walk in MEEP, and then come back to their bodies? It kinda has the feel of the question of to love and lose, or to not love and not feel the pain of losing. You know?

This was a really fantastic and enjoyable book, and it has the perfect set up for the sequel, I want to know more about the hacker group, the real one, and Wyn's dad, because that's where the big conflict's going to be, I just know it!
