So this week I want to read Forgotten in Death, The Inheritance Games, The Hawthorne Legacy, and High Stakes.

Week 35 Review: A Lesson in Vengeance
For fans of Wilder Girls and Ninth House, comes a dark, twisty, atmospheric thriller about a boarding school haunted by its history of witchcraft and two girls dangerously close to digging up the past.
Witchcraft is woven into the Dalloway School's history. The school doesn't talk about it, but the students do. And most memorable of all is the Dalloway Five--five students who all died mysteriously one after another, who some say were witches.
Before her girlfriend's tragic death, Felicity Morrow was drawn to the dark. But after a year away from Dalloway's ivy-covered campus, she's determined to leave all that behind her, focus on her senior thesis, and graduate. Only it's hard when Dalloway's occult history is everywhere. And when the new girl won't let her forget.
It's Ellis Haley's first year at Dalloway, and she's already amassed a loyal following. A prodigy novelist at seventeen, Ellis is eccentric and brilliant, and Felicity can't shake the pull she feels to her. So when Ellis asks Felicity for help researching the Dalloway Five for her second book, Felicity can't say no. Given her history with the arcane, Felicity is the perfect resource. My Review:
Well this was a really fantastic read! It was dark and atmospheric, and I loved reading about these characters! The fact that Ellis is an writer was so cool, and then there was the whole thing with Felicity's dead girlfriend. There was a lot going on in this book was it was so great!
That this book is unapologetically LGBT+, I love. Felicity is into girls (I forget if she's bi or lesbian) and that what gender she liked wasn't part of the story, it was who. And that kind of representation is really great, and I'm glad we're seeing more of it!
It was really interesting to see Felicity and Ellis. Felicity has a past trauma here at the school with her girlfriend, while Ellis is the new kid. And with their investigation with the Dalloway Five, and all the creepy happenings, it all came together really well!
Oh but that ending? That was devious, how it ended up, and I loved it. After everything that happened, it was a really suitable ending to this book! Throughout it was dark and twisted, and these characters perfectly fit in, so that ending was just really well done!
I had a really great time reading this book, and I can't wait to read more by Victoria Lee!

Oh but that ending? That was devious, how it ended up, and I loved it. After everything that happened, it was a really suitable ending to this book! Throughout it was dark and twisted, and these characters perfectly fit in, so that ending was just really well done!
I had a really great time reading this book, and I can't wait to read more by Victoria Lee!
