So I just got home (home home, not residence, because I'm home for the weekend, yeah, doggies, one of whom is trying to invade my personal privacy!) from my second ever, real live concert, this one performed by Shania Twain! So awesome, and I have a new tote bag to match the one that I got from my first concert, yeah! So that was a lot of fun!
It didn't help that I had a headache most of today, but I sang along with every one of her songs (and a few of the pre show, and interlude to switch performers, songs! So now I have a headache, and a hoarse voice, and my ears felt a bit funny afterwards, but are mostly fine now (I think!)
So yeah, I tired, but I had such an awesome time enjoying the concert, especially since my ticket was my birthday present! On the downside, tomorrow's Saturday, and my review day, but I only have up to Burning Glass reviewed right now, and I'm probably not going to be up by the time the posts are posting. So advanced sorry's, and I'll have the reviews up as soon as as I get up and have breakfast tomorrow!
Happy reading!

Random Thought...
I'm insane. Well, I'm 1 person, and it feels to me like I'm trying to read half of the books ever written in the past 5 years or so. Which I can't do. So I'm going to try reading less-at least till I catch up, and bring a little balance, because this is the 3rd time this has happened (first reading a lot, then writing a lot, now blogging a lot, I'd do it a lot, and then basically burn out, and I don't want that) which is why I want balance. So I'm going to try reading a little, writing a little, and blogging a little, plus college. Because yeah, I'm still me, and I'm still insane. I'll try to lower the levels of said insanity though!
So goals:
Reading/Blogging:
-read a book a day
-catch up on memes/challenges
-write reviews for the past 2 years almost now!!!!!
-keep up to date!!!!!
-update Netgalley sheet of titles
-Manage epubs
-Keep up with Tuebl books and requests
Writing:
-sketch out idea with influences from Born of Fire and the weird movie-by the end of October
-create title for above idea
-write above idea during NaNoWriMo!
-edit above book after finished-by March!
-choose another idea to write after above book is halfway done editing
-write 2nd idea
Random:
-Catch up music plays from when hard drive had to be replaced
-get music that I want
-Watch some TV
-Catch up on shows cancelled before I started watching them, or only watched a few episodes, or it's been forever since I've seen them (Alias, Angel, Blue Bloods, Cold Case, the CSI's, Ghost Whisper, Glee, Grimm, Kim Possible, Liberty's Kids, Missing, NCIS, Numb3rs, Pretty Little Liars, Private Practice, Ringer, Sinbad, Switched at Birth, Teen Wolf, The Following, and The Good Wife are most of the shows I need/want to watch!)
-Start and Finish all 3 online college courses!!!!!
-Keep apartment/room clean!
Ok, here's to hoping that I can accomplish these goals!

Follow Friday #10, January 13th
Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Follow Friday is hosted by 2 hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs! For more rules and how to participate, visit one of the hosts. Now for this week’s question:
Q: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favourite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.
A: I listen to Country and Pop. Some songs that I've listened to in the past few months or so that I just love are:
Haven't Had Enough by Marianas Trench (and pretty much all Marianas Trench songs, like Celebrity Status, All To Myself, Cross My Heart, and Masterpiece Theatre, Pt. 3. I listened to this while reading Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder, and I love both, and Poison Study was my best read of 2011!)
Mr. Mom by Lonestar (I just love this one, it's really cute, and I think it's one of the first animated music videos, and yeah, love it, and other songs, like Front Porch Looking In)
Don't Trust Me by 3OH!3 (and other songs like My First Kiss, Starstrukk, and R. I. P. Yep.)
E.T. by Katy Perry (and other Katy Perry songs like Hot n Cold, Last Friday Night, Teenage Dream, and Waking Up In Vegas)
Take it Off by Ke$ha (I listened to this while reading The Iron Knight, both very dark! And other Ke$ha songs like We R Who We R, Crazy Beautiful Life, The Harold Song, Your Love is My Drug, Tik ToK, and others!)
Raise Your Glass by P!nk (and her other songs like U and Ur Hand, So What, and Heartbreak Down)
You Can't Break a Broken Heart by Kate Vogele (I love her albums, though I haven't gotten Gravity Happens yet, but I will soon! Check out all of her music, I love Angel and 99 Times, too!)
Gotta Be Somebody by Nickleback (I feel this song. So good! Love it!)
Crank It Up by Ashley Tisdale (This is such a great dance song! Love it! Love other songs like So Much for You, Headstrong, Don't Touch (The Zoom Song), Hot Mess, Switch, and Masquerade to name a few!
Born Again by Newsboys (Just a really great song, with great lyrics! Love it!)
Halfway Gone by Lighthouse (Really enjoy this song, and feel this way a lot of the time! Love it!)
Whataya Want From Me by Adam Lambert (This is just a great song, love it!)
Yeah, that's just a few songs that I like. I have over 2000 songs, even though I've only been getting CD's for the past 4 or 5 years or so. Dislike iTunes music, though, because if you have your email address wrong (happened twice) or change it (happened once) or forgot the password (happened to many times to count) it makes things ticky, unlike CD's. Yep. Happy listening and reading!

What I Feel Like
*Sorry for this post, just ...want to see if this works. *
This is a song that I feel fits what I feel most of the time, and right now, particularly strong because my parents don't think the play is worth their time, and told me that one of my options was to not come home. Well, I haven't gone home in over 5 years, so that's pretty hard to do, but anyways. Here's the song:
Here are the lyrics that apply to me (no repeats):
You don't know my name
You don't know anything about me
I try to play nice
I want to be in your game
I'm telling you to your face
I'm standing here behind your back
You don't know how it feels to be outside the crowd
You don't know what it's like to be left out
And you don't know how it feels to be your own best friend
On the outside looking in
I'm tired of staying at home
I'm bored and all alone
I'm sick of wasting all my time

NEW YORK!!! BAND TOUR!!!!
As you might have noticed, I mentioned going to NY. And I leave tomorrow morning, will be at the airport by 7:30, and so it's going to be a lot of fun! I'm going to be picking up a lot of the books that I've been hearing about, so I can't wait!
There is 1 downfall, though. We can't bring laptops. Which means the only way I'm getting on the internet is on hotel-supplied computers, friends, and my ipod. Which means little to no posts-though I'll catch up next weekend, lots of posts then!!! But look at it this way-I'm going to NY! Which I've wanted to do for 2 years now, and I'm also getting a lot of books! I wonder what the tax is on books in NY...Plus I'm only allowed 50 pounds for the luggage, so I'm putting a LOT of books in my carry on when I come back hehe :)
Plus my in my mailbox is going to be soooo huge! I can't wait!!!!!! So see you guys next week, and I hope I have a lot of good interesting tales to tell!

How I Suffer
Ok, so you guys know how I said I love music? Well, here's some proof. I'm in concert band, senior band, and Performing Arts (we're doing the play, Beauty and the Beast, and I'm a milkmaid :) ) For future reference, I play the clarinet.
Anyways, today was concert band. This means being at school at seven, or earlier, and starting quater after. That means getting up at 6. AM. Not fun. Add to that the fact that at the end of period 1, I started getting this headache.
My headaches can cause a lot of pain, so during the switching of classes, I took 8 advil. Hoped that the pain would go away. Fast forward to 5pm, still have that headache, take 8 more advil. Fast forward to now, 8:30ish, still have this headache.
Add to that I have to stay after school for PA till 5, or 6, depending, and you have a not so happy me.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, during cb, my clarinet was acting up. So guess what it decided to do when I was packing up?
It popped off one of the buttons, the screws too loose to keep it on. Turns out all the screws were loose. That was certainly fun. Not. But at least I found the screw right away, and the, well, he's not the teacher, but he's not the student teacher-he's been a sub for years, and he has a lot of music related jobs, yeah, him, fixed my clarinet, yeah, so it doesn't have to go in to get fixed before I start the whole day again tomorrow, wednesday, for senior band. Yeah. Not.
But anyways. Finished reading Living With the Dead by Kelley Armstrong (I'm reading the series) and moved onto Men of the Otherworld. Clay as a 8 year old is really funny! Next book on the list (not counting nano books) is Frostbitten, which will be nice, since I want to know more about Elena and Clay's kids!
Talk later! Now write!

Hello All!
Hi, I'm Louisa, and for those that know me, I don't need an intro. So I won't do one. I've done waaaay too many on wrimos (writing months) to want to do another one.
Basic facts, though.
1. I am a horrible speller, and unless grammar is pointed out to me, I probably won't notice :) (I have been caught spelling my own name wrong on occasion)
2. I am a writer. I write books. I love books. I have started who knows how many novels, and have completed 2-How it Did Fall, and The Soul Collector. I have a lot of ideas-over 200. I also read a LOT! About 1 book a day, so if I talk about a different one, well, I've probably finished the previous one already.
3. I tend to rush things, so thus that means a lot of spelling mistakes/I don't get a lot of homework :)
4. I love my doggies. And I think you'll hear about them a lot, so I won't say anything else about them right now :)
Books and Music are my loves. If I post something that doesn't involve them, well, that means something is probably up :)
Yep. That's me!
