Week 15 Review: The Stolen Bride
Clover Deering is living her best life. Kind of. Maybe. Okay, so, not at all. The owner of Fur-Ever Pet Spa is deeply in debt and battling a temper that scares even herself. My Review:
Oh, I loved reading this book! I love their writing and I really enjoyed the first book, and I was excited to continue on the series!

Week 40 Review: The Wrong Bride
Vacationing in Scotland, schoolteacher Elizabeth "Elle" Darcy anticipates picturesque landscapes, castles of old and kilt-wearing charmers, not awakening in someone else's body. Worse, that someone just married enigmatic billionaire Callen Bruce. Though that's not the biggest problem. To the rest of the world, her new "husband" runs an elite empire. But behind his public persona, he's a king of berserkers locked in an ancient, supernatural war with wolf-shifters.
Determined to reclaim her normal life, Elle will do anything necessary to switch back with Callen's real wife. First, she must ditch the disciplined warrior. An impossibility when he refuses to relinquish the bride chosen for him by fate, even though he despises her. Or does he? The growing heat in his eyes says otherwise. Not that it matters. There's no way this temporary queen will fall for the moody, broody secretive warrior who belongs to another woman. Nope. Not Elle. Not ever. Probably.
My Review:
Oh, this was a wonderful read! I really enjoy Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe's books together, but this one is a paranormal romance, which they've done before, but separately, their previous was a mystery romance, so I was excited to see what their work together would be like. And I had such a great time reading it!
Elle pretty much immediately gets caught up in this situation where she's body swapped with someone who seemed pretty awful. That she has a genuine interest in the guy that the body that she's inhabiting is married to, that's a complication. Another is that those that are body swapped are supposed to be killed. Yeah.
One thing that I loved, was that Elle read a book-Romancing the Gravestone, the first book in the other series that they've written together, it was so cute! That Elle commented that Jane had a beef with guys started with C-and Elle is in a body married to a guy named Callen? Loved it!

That ending was an absolute blast! That was totally unexpected, and so entertaining! I was hanging on every word, wondering how things were going to play out! And man, it was a wild ride, with every twist and reveal, and I loved where it left off, it was so good!
This was a fantastic read, and I can't wait for the sequel and see where it's going to go!

Week 19 Review: Grave New World

My Review:
Oh this was such a great and delightful read! It was a bit sad to say goodbye to these characters (and Beau didn't get a love interest!) but they had a really interesting mystery to deal with to wrap things up that was really entertaining to read!
This mystery was really interesting, because of the amount of suspects, who are in a writing group, that are apparently playing a game with Jane ad Team Truth. I had a fantastic time seeing Jane go undercover as a future best-selling novelist, and with all her off the wall theories!
I'm really glad that Lucy got brought back, that was a lingering question in my mind, and it was great to see it resolved! I loved what she added to the story, because she was a friend, but she also stole all that money, so the question was if she was trustworthy or not.
Besides all that, there was also the wedding preparations, which was so cute to read, of Jane and Conrad figuring out who was going to do what roles and such. It was such a fitting end to this book, between this book's resolution to the mystery, to her and Conrad overcoming her fear of the family curse!
Loved reading this book and I can't wait to read the new series that it seems that Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe are doing next!
