My Review:
It was really fantastic to read this book! I've loved Scott Tracey's books before, and this one was so good! It was strange and interesting, and I really enjoyed this world! And the characters, the children of a very bad group of people. Though they might have been good once...

I really enjoyed reading about Justin and the others! They were bounced around because of his "twin"-though really they share the same dad, the leader of the Moonset coven, but different mothers. Yeah. And the mystery of their parents, because they did some pretty horrible things, and they did have a bit of logic on their side, if only they hadn't gone such a dark path! But there's a mystery there, too!

To be honest, I'm a little confused by the ending. I don't know how it all worked out, how Justin drew those conclusions from what happened. So I don't quite understand what happened there at the end, but I know there was a bit of good there for the group!

I imagine that the plan for this series was to have each member of the group narrate the book. So it kinda sucks that the 2nd book is also the last, for now. Because it was really enjoyable to read this book, the mystery and the family squabbles!

Really fantastic book, and I can't wait to read more of the series!

My Review:
This book was so fantastic and wonderful! I loved Lily, and Creed, and all of the Seven Black Diamonds! They were all so interesting (though a few of the POV's I could've done without, because I just wanted to get to Lily's and Eilidh's, mainly.

This world was really fantastic! From reading the synopsis, I wasn't quite sure if this was a separate series, or a spin off of the Wicked Lovely series, since it's been so long since I read the Wicked Lovely books. But it's a separate series, a separate world, and one that was so fascinating to learn about!

I really enjoyed the Seven Black Diamonds. They had their problems, but they were a group and they had their dynamics (I didn't like Zephyr so much, but that was because he was more on the Queen's side. And pretty much all of the group was with Lily. Lily and Creed were so awesome, Lily and the girls were epic, and we didn't get much time with the rest of the boys.

I kinda guessed Lily's genealogy, because it just made sense, and when it turned out I was right, I did a mental happy dance. Everybody likes being right about things that aren't bad! And then everything happened, and that ending, oh! I can't wait for the next book!

Such a fantastic book, and I can't wait for the sequel! Melissa Marr is such a fantastic author!

My Review:
This book was different from most books! It was darker, and there was no happy ending for now-the ending was pretty dark, and with a lot of questions, some answers, and some darker times coming in the future!

One thing that I have to comment on, is the cover! It's so beautiful, and I love the colours, it's so wonderful to look at! And it's a great representation of the book, what with Nikki's synesthesia. So really great cover!

Nikki wasn't the easiest to like for me. She was enjoyable to read about, not not likeable at first. She was harsh and straight to the point, and she had some bad habits, like smoking. I really don't like the idea of smoking! But she grew on me!

Loved the mystery, and the clues that were left behind by Peyton, and the reasons why. Family is complicated, and I thought that things might go bad in places that they didn't, and vice versa. And all those twists and revelations at the end? Shocking, and I can't wait to see some reactions in the next book!

This book was wonderful, and I really can't wait to read more!

My Review:
Man, this book was just so freaking fantastic! My only things that I didn't like weren't the book itself, but my situation reading it-that it'd been so long since reading The Orphan Queen (I should have reread it) and that not all of the novellas were out to read together with this. (Can't complain of getting this eARC!) Oh, well. That didn't diminish the book in any way!

This book picks up right after The Orphan Queen ends. And that's a good thing, seeing that cliffhanger ending! And then things were kinda chaos, but enjoyable-to-read chaos, though not so fun to be going through for the characters chaos!

I really enjoyed watching Wilhelmina being Queen after being the Black Knife. It wasn't easy, especially with the Regent and Patrick and all the machinations there! So fantastic to read, so epic and a lot was happening, and things were learned, and I just loved everything!

The ending was a bit bittersweet, with the cost of winning, but they did win, and the world they live in is starting to heal. Which is a really great thing, seeing as their world had been slowly devoured and all, and now it was recovering!

So fantastic, now I need to read the prequel novellas when they're out, because this series is just so fantastic!

Week 1 Review: The Iron Warrior

My Review:
Oh, man, this book! It was so fantastic, it wrapped things up, and it's finally out after that evil, evil, evil cliffhanger that was The Iron Traitor! Though I do wish that it's title hadn't changed from The Forgotten Crown, because it goes better with The Lost Prince and The Iron Traitor then The Iron Warrior, repeating Iron!

So this book picks up pretty quickly after that evil cliffhanger, and then it dives pretty quickly into the action again, and that was just great! This book was pretty single-focused-find a way to save Keirran from himself, basically.

There was a lot of travelling, because this was a pretty important quest to be on, finding out how they could save him. Part of me was pretty mad with Tatiana, if she'd let Annwyl back into Faerie, then this all might not have happened-she would've been saved from Fading, and Keirran wouldn't have been giving up his soul to keep her here. That loss of a soul being why he was leading the Forgotten Army and all!

I enjoyed how things wrapped up, there were a few losses, and it wasn't a perfect ending, all happy lovely dovey, there were consequences, but they were mostly ones that could be lived with. So it was a really enjoyable ending!

It'll suck to say goodbye to these characters, but hey, at least we got this spin off series!

My Review:
It was just fantastic to be able to read these books! It's been a little while since I read Frostfire, but I got into this series pretty quickly, and it was just so enjoyable to read it! Just so enjoyable, and made me even more thankful that we got this spin off series!

These books were a bit of a roller coaster. There were so many ups, downs, twists and turns and it was such an incredible ride. Even with the hurtful bits, they were just so great, tempered with the really awesome stuff!

We didn't really get to know Konstantin Black until Crystal Kingdom, which is when he gets the most time "on screen." And there's so much there, things that we didn't know, that were pretty important to learn, and just so enjoyable!

The ending was a bit bittersweet. It was a win for the good guys, but there were some pretty significant losses. But they were heading for a better future. I really enjoyed Bryn and Riley together, that they're going to continue on!

Such a fantastic series, so enjoyable-we even got a Wendy and Loki scene!-and I can't wait to read more by Amanda Hocking!

My Review:
Yeah, this book exists! I'm so happy! I wasn't expecting it, and I only found out about it not too long before it came out. But I'm so glad that we got Cam and Lilith's story! It was so great, and so enjoyable, and it was awesome to be in this world again!

Cam was always a bit of a mystery in the series. He was on the bad guy's team, but not the initial bad guy. And he did some good stuff. And we only had a quick scene with Lilith in Passion. So it was really great to get to know them!

I agree with Cam-having a whole week, 7 days of school would be a Hell. Like, a mental torture one, because having school 5 days a week is pretty bad. But with no break? Awful! Especially given how Lilith was treated, given that it was a hell created for her!

Honestly, I would actually love to have more of this series, what with the rebellion that Roland seemed to be leading in the end! And it could star any number of the angels, because they deserve happy endings, though I wouldn't mind seeing more of Cam and Lilith!

Really great book, and again, I would really love more!

My Review:
I just sped read through this book! It helped that it was only 170 pages or so on my Nook, so that was hardly anything for me to read! And really enjoyable, page-turning writing didn't hurt, either! Unfortunately the words aren't flowing so easily for me to write this review!

After No One to Trust, I wanted to know more about Judd, and I was really glad to have this book with his story! That he would do something that was pretty selfish, that could've harmed a child, was pretty awful. But he had helped them in in the end, and then there was this book!

This book is another presidential mystery, just like the first Eve book, Face of Deception! But not a bad guys to keep the power, but bad guys to get the power. Adding in Logan, and everything going on in this book, just made thing so much better!

Loved how everything came together, these characters had a few tricks up their sleeves to beat the bad guys, and with writing that didn't give away what was going to happen, that ending was just awesome and I loved it!

Another fantastic book, love this series, and I can't wait to read more!

Week 1 Review: 7 Brides for 7 Bodies

My Review:
I was so excited to read this book! And I just flew right thorugh it-I've kinda been waiting for it for a while-and it was totally worth the wait! Now there's the wait for the next book! This series is just fantastic and readable!

This book picks up pretty quickly after the ending of book 6, the day after their dad was arrested, going to visit him. Of course things happen, and things get complex, and deaths happen that Carlotta that she has to investigate, and both sibling's complicated love lives grow even more so!

One thing that was learned, was that both her annoying co-worker's, and her best friend, Hannah's, parents were clients of her dad, and lost their money. Which sucks to find out, but it was a good thing to know, because they're in her life.

Really enjoyed that ending, even if it hurt, because the bad guy was caught, and the heart strings were pulled and tugged with twists and turns in the story, with the fact that things are going to be continuing on in the next book! I can't wait!

Totally enjoyed this book so much, and now the wait for the next book begins!

My Review:
I absolutely loved reading this book! It's the most complex, it has all 3 couples, and it's the end of the series. And while it's sad to say goodbye to these characters, it was just so enjoyable to read this book-they ended with a bang!

I really enjoyed having the story of Sofia and Gideon. We met Sofia in This Shattered World, and Gideon was mentioned, and that they had this story was just fantastic, and amazing to read! They were such awesome characters to read about!

There were quite a few twists and turns in this book, as well as action and romance, heartbreak, betrayal and trust and friends and just plain awesomeness! Everything, and I mean everything,came together, and that was so great! Just a fantastic story, epic and awesome and definitely a keeper!

Totally enjoyed all the ups and downs that made up this book, but especially the page between the chapters, which have been in all the books, and the ending. The in-betweens have always been great, and this time, we got the "whisper's" story from the beginning, and that was so great! As well as that ending, because it was just the best!

I enjoyed reading this book, so, so, so much, and I'm sad to say goodbye to this world, but I can't wait for more books by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, together and separate!

My Review:
Man, it was so great to read these! We got some Kowalski love, which was really great, as well as the standard fare of James Rollins books of history, science, and location! It's strange, I have this idea that the present is better then the past, and then books like this come around, and we've lost something between then and now!

My dad says that in the books I read, I don't use my mind, that I don't learn anything. Which is totally unfair, because I read books like this, that teach me so much about the world, and in this book in particular, with the question of the moon, which was raised. So ha!

One thing that was brought up, was the intellectual capital, that students from other countries are taught, often with US government money, and then they go back to their home countries to be competition. Which is a good and a bad thing, because competition breeds all sorts of cool things and yet it's being paid for with no immediate benefits. There should be a better system, so everybody has the opportunity to learn and benefit and grow!

Another thing was the treatment and scientific use of gorillas, monkeys, apes. That the US has no restrictions there, that pretty much anything can be done to those creatures. That these creatures are what was chosen for the experiment that the sisters were doing regarding the Great Leap Forward.

I kinda have to disagree with that last sentence of the synopsis! They didn't falter or fail, and if there were any changes to the world, well, they weren't immediate! And that 10 years later epilogue didn't have any spoilers for what was to come, besides the wedding ring, and that just brought up more questions then answers!

Really fantastic stories, really awesome to read, and just great instalments to this series! I can't want for more!
