Will the Time Come #468, May 21st

Every Thursday I am going to list a book which I really want to read/keep meaning to get to. These are mostly books which have been on my shelf for awhile now but don't have to be, maybe you got it two weeks ago and really want to read it! Thanks to Jodie from Books for Company for this meme!

Red-hot author Miranda Kenneally hits one out of the park in this return to Catching Jordan's Hundred Oaks High.

Parker Shelton pretty much has the perfect life. She’s on her way to becoming valedictorian at Hundred Oaks High, she’s made the all-star softball team, and she has plenty of friends. Then her mother’s scandal rocks their small town and suddenly no one will talk to her.

Now Parker wants a new life.

So she quits softball. Drops twenty pounds. And she figures why kiss one guy when she can kiss three? Or four. Why limit herself to high school boys when the majorly cute new baseball coach seems especially flirty?

But how far is too far before she loses herself completely?

Why the time hasn't come yet...
I don't know, I just kinda forgot about this book. It sounds good, and I want to read it, so hopefully I will! What about you guys? Happy reading!

The finish line is only the beginning...

Annie hates running. No matter how far she jogs, she can't escape the guilt that if she hadn't broken up with Kyle, he might still be alive. So to honor his memory, she starts preparing for the marathon he intended to race.

But the training is even more grueling than Annie could have imagined. Despite her coaching, she's at war with her body, her mind-and her heart. With every mile that athletic Jeremiah cheers her on, she grows more conflicted. She wants to run into his arms...and sprint in the opposite direction. For Annie, opening up to love again may be even more of a challenge than crossing the finish line.

Why the time hasn't come yet...
I don't know. Just haven't seen it around, so I'm not reminded by it! Again, hopefully I'll read it soon! What about you guys? Happy reading!

Week 39 Review: Catching Jordan

From Goodreads:
ONE OF THE BOYS

What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university.

But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Greeen moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's on the line?

My Review:
I think Miranda Kenneally is going to be an author that's going to be around a long while, because this book was fantastic! While this book is on the shorter side, it has a lot in it, all the conflicts of high school romance!

So Jordan is a pretty big tomboy, she's the captain and the quarterback of the football team. Which is saying something, even if her dad's the coach. And then Ty shows up, and things get messed up. Not fun, but it was so great to read!

I did feel like Jordan was a bit over-emotional, tearing up almost every other page. And while these were pretty emotional circumstances, I'm not a crying person, and so that was a tiny bit annoying. But that's something on me!

Where it ended, and wrapped up, was really pleasant and great! And since I've heard that it's going to be a series, well, yeah, that means that we're going to be able to see these two again later, after they've reached their happy ending, so yeah, that's really great!

I just enjoyed this book so much! It was so entertaining and great!
