Week 51 Review: Thirteen Days to Midnight

My Review:
Oh, this was a really fantastic book! And it was a book that really makes you think-a gift that can let you save people, but the more you save, the more it becomes like a curse! Very fantastic! I enjoyed reading this book so much!

I really enjoyed reading about Jacob and Ophelia, and Jacob's friend, they were really interesting teens, in a situation that nobody should be in. Because it's not life or death like for professions known for them, at least, the common situations, this was a situation, where you pick, one person dies, and another lives. In the jobs, I don't think there's much choice, more action!

This was a book about a very interesting superpower, one that has a pretty devastating downside. It made parts of the book sad, but all the more worth it, to read it! Life is a mix of good and bad, and this book had a pretty good balance!

There were some really hard choices in this book. So I'm really glad that there came to be a happy ending, they did have a pretty tight deadline, but they did pretty good with the time they had! And then for the good times!

This was a really great book, and I enjoyed it a bunch!

Week 43 Review: Dark Eden

My Review:
Wow, was this a really creepy book! And the realization that things were planned, that Will's treatment was supposed to be like that, well, it was really, really chill-bump inducing. The idea sounds really inciting!

But I have to say, that while I finished this book, I didn't really enjoy it, or really connect to the characters, and I confess to skimming more then half of the middle, just because, I dunno, it didn't really hold my attention, and it was due back, and I had other books that I wanted to read.

So while I think that it was a pretty OK book, I didn't enjoy it. Not to say that others wouldn't, I think that lots of people would love this book, it just wasn't for me. So hopefully other people really enjoyed it!

The whole idea of it sounds really horrible in real life, but would've made for a really great book! But the execution, something about it just didn't work for me, and yeah, that sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it! I just don't have to read it!

This book was really weird, and I wish I enjoyed it, but oh, well!
