I'm Moving, An Update the First

So I meant to do this post a little sooner, but yeah. Very tired! We moved over all the rest of my stuff over in 2 more trips, which was really great, and had the truck returned on time. And yesterday I set up my computer setup, as well as unpack the bathroom and towels.

Today, was a really good day, I moved some things around (my bedroom is fairly filled to the brim now!) and swept, so now I have the doggies! At least till sometime tomorrow! My parents brought them over, the book room got organized, as well as the dining room (in which we stacked my little bookcases on top of each other.)

And I just finished unpacking all my YA hardcovers. I couldn't put them properly on the shelves because I'd broken some of the inserted bits that hold up the shelves. So now to do the YA paperbacks, which are the 2 collections in the book room, and then I can start on the living room and dining room, clearing that out, hopefully making some of the new bookcases, and this place will really come together!

But not much reading, though I've almost finished an audiobook from unpacking those hardcovers! What about you guys? Happy reading! 

Moving Day!

So today is moving day, which means I'm not really going to be blogging. My review posts are scheduled, but I haven't written the reviews yet, because I'm ridiculously behind! And tehcnically we did do 3 truck loads yesterday, moved all the heavy stuff besides the bed, but now to move all my boxes of books, as well as the bookcases that we couldn't get to because of said boxes of books! 

But internet is set up over at the new place, so hopefully once everything is moved and I have a moment, I'll get some blogging done to relax! Fingers crossed, because we have to return the truck by 12:30, and it's currently a little past quarter after 8 here!

And I Moved

I believe I mentioned that I was moving. Not far, just a different room in the house. Well, that happened today. Well, yesterday, since it's now the 15th.

I did it almost entirely by myself, I only had help taking apart my bed and putting it back together, everything else, I did. Including 3 dressers, 5 small bookcases and all the books in them as well as the books that were in my big bookcase that got moved out of my room, my bed, and other random things.

I still have a few pieces of furniture to move, like my desk, and empty out my closet and bathroom, but the essentials are in the new room, where I'm now. Boy, though, I'm tired! Time to relax and sleep before finishing it off!

A Few Things, the Past, and the Future

Like, why yesterday, I didn't do what I wanted to do. And some upcoming things.

Yesterday's thing was pretty small, but annoying. The internet crapped out. Not the modem, because that was reset multiple times, with no result. Nope, the internet was just gone for the rest of the day till I went to sleep. But I've all caught up on what I wanted to do then! Now for other things!

Today I had my consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. The date of the surgery is July 24th at 1:30 (which sucks, since no eating after midnight, and no water once it's just 3 hours and less till the surgery. And then there's the recovery time. So just like my ankle, I'm not sure if this is going to have an impact on my reading and blogging, good or bad. But it's on a Friday, so long weekend for me, with recovery!

Another thing that's coming up, is that my family's moving. Not yet, and it's not 100% guaranteed yet, but it's going to happen. Probably mid to late July. So I'm going to be pretty busy there, packing and such. Ah, the various plans that my dad has, that I can't talk about or he'll get mad at me again like he did last time in a non-blogging incident! And then moving back to college for the year. Yeah, a lot of change coming!

So that's some things that are coming my way, and I just wanted to give a heads up, because I'm going to be increasingly busy as all these things are happening!
