Well, my computer arrived! And I'm really excited, like the title says, this feels a bit like Christmas, especially since this is technically part Christmas gift! I've already got all my files over, my programs installed, and things how I like them, well, when I can figure out how to get them that way! Apparently newer computers have the account from Microsoft, vs. having a user of the computer, so that's different for me!
Old computer was on 40% battery, and it was loads of fun switching the mouse's USB thing between the computers because the old computer doesn't have a working mouse. And yeah, it's great having a computer that touch pad and such works!
I wasn't expecting it to come by today, I was just hoping. I mean, yesterday it checked into Calgary. And then this morning, when I checked it, it said that they'ed scanned for the destination, which I misread and thought was departure for a chunk of today. And then I checked it again and it said delivered! You should've seen my race to the front door! And there it was! I was so excited to open and see it!
Sure, this computer is different from my old one-it's a bit bigger and heavier, and there's a separate number key pad, and the edges of the computer are different, and this keyboard feels so weird! Which some of these might seem like complaints, well, it's just that it's new and I still have to get to used to it, and I can't wait to!
This is my first post (well, published and posted, because I kinda did a few (52-ish) meme posts because I've already started my 2018 meme posts) done on this computer, and I can't wait to write more!
So yeah, the final update in my computer journey!

Waiting Game
So I mean to write this post yesterday, but kinda got busy with other things!
So I just posted Computer Problems! and I decided that I would do updates whenever anything happened. And what happened was that I ordered a new-to-me laptop (it's refurbished) that has more RAM and more memory, and it's kinda a little bit less destructible, so hopefully it'll last me for a while, at least 5 years like this one!
So it's ordered, and it's shipped, but it hasn't reached UPs facility yet, so I have no idea when it's going to arrive. But yesterday, I binge watched youtube theories, and updated my files on my usb sticks to I can transfer them over to the new computer.
In the meantime, I managed to charge this computer, so it'll 100% instead of 3%. So that's much better, but with all the issues this computer has (it's old, it randomly pops out the DVD thing, the touchpad doesn't work, there's bits and pieces broken off of it) and this new one, where the charger has to be in a specific position or it won't charge, or it might not even register as being plugged in, I had to get a new laptop. This one will just become my backup one, or in the rare instance where I might need more than one computer. Hey, it could happen!
I'm just about done that now (I don't have enough space for my movies) so like the title suggests, it's now a waiting game, for when the computer arrives and I can start using it!
I'll have future posts whenever something happens, because while I'm pretty sure nobody's interested, well, it'll be a record (information, not beating something) for me. Yep.

Computer Problems!
So this morning, my computer charger adapter cord thing died on my today. I do have others from my various computer problems, but the only one that works, only is plugged in, it doesn't charge, well, it keeps the battery steady. And it's currently steady at 3%.
So this might affect blogging. Posts are scheduled, they just don't have the day to day content in them. I am going to be buying a new to me laptop, so hopefully this doesn't last for more than a week, because I'd be lost without my computer!

Random Thought...
I'm insane. Well, I'm 1 person, and it feels to me like I'm trying to read half of the books ever written in the past 5 years or so. Which I can't do. So I'm going to try reading less-at least till I catch up, and bring a little balance, because this is the 3rd time this has happened (first reading a lot, then writing a lot, now blogging a lot, I'd do it a lot, and then basically burn out, and I don't want that) which is why I want balance. So I'm going to try reading a little, writing a little, and blogging a little, plus college. Because yeah, I'm still me, and I'm still insane. I'll try to lower the levels of said insanity though!
So goals:
Reading/Blogging:
-read a book a day
-catch up on memes/challenges
-write reviews for the past 2 years almost now!!!!!
-keep up to date!!!!!
-update Netgalley sheet of titles
-Manage epubs
-Keep up with Tuebl books and requests
Writing:
-sketch out idea with influences from Born of Fire and the weird movie-by the end of October
-create title for above idea
-write above idea during NaNoWriMo!
-edit above book after finished-by March!
-choose another idea to write after above book is halfway done editing
-write 2nd idea
Random:
-Catch up music plays from when hard drive had to be replaced
-get music that I want
-Watch some TV
-Catch up on shows cancelled before I started watching them, or only watched a few episodes, or it's been forever since I've seen them (Alias, Angel, Blue Bloods, Cold Case, the CSI's, Ghost Whisper, Glee, Grimm, Kim Possible, Liberty's Kids, Missing, NCIS, Numb3rs, Pretty Little Liars, Private Practice, Ringer, Sinbad, Switched at Birth, Teen Wolf, The Following, and The Good Wife are most of the shows I need/want to watch!)
-Start and Finish all 3 online college courses!!!!!
-Keep apartment/room clean!

Poor Computer! And Poor Me!
I just wanted to do a post that added to the new/existing problems of my computer. Some more keys aren't working, like down, and left is slow. The plastic that is around the screen, I broke it off at the bottom, because it was free, and bugging me. And since it's not connected to the base of the laptop on the corner that gives me the most trouble, I'm having to prop it up, at the moment, it's leaning against my headboard of my bed, and one of my bookcases, and the evil corner is on top of a flashlight so it's all nice and even. Anyone know a good place to get cheap, reliable, long-lasting, hard to destroy, dell computers? I really need a new one, since this one is. Well, let's just say it's not pretty and leave it at that, shall we? Plus the fact that I'm reading a lot of PDF's, and epubs, not so good on the computer, or my neck to have to look up at the screen. Yep. I would love some suggestions, since this is really wearing me down!

I Found My Mouse!
I'm happy. I've found my mouse. It's been missing since just neaer the end of May. I thought I'd never see it again! I had put it in my backpack, then when I got to school, it was gone. I couldn't find it.
And now I feel a little silly. My backpack has 2 zippers in the back, one for the laptop at the very back, and 1 for the other stuff, I put the power cord there, and the mouse, and it had a bit of fabric creating a pocket at the bottom.
So when I got to school that day, I searched the whole second zipper, digging deep. Know what I didn't search? The laptop zipper. So today, when I was going to my grandma's for supper (and meeting my newest cousin, Zachary who's less then a month for the first time) I was putting in the power cord when I felt a lump. I searched both parts of the second zipper. Then I opened the first, and there, at the bottom, was my mouse!
It was a bit more destroyed from when it first went in, some of the rubbery stuff had a tear, and it was further out, and the sticky grip thing at the front was bent a bit, but other then that, it still works, and I'm happy, it makes reading on the computer way easier! But yeah, feel a bit silly, it'd been there the whole time, and I took my laptop in and out of there for a good month, and didn't notice a thing.
But I have it back, and that's what matters. Now to get my email fixed so I can send mail from my xplornet account, and to call the phone people to reset my password for my voicemail, and to get rid of the virus that is apparenlty on this computer, be able to see images, and embeded megavideo and other video sources, and to fix the computer screen parts, since one corner of the covering plastic isn't screwed in, and the actual screen isn't screwed into the back cover, and to maybe glue the plastic around the keyboard on the same corner down, and the front too, and to glue back on the cover of the dvd/cd play disk thing, and get the seven key working (I copy and paste the seven that is apparently part of my blog ID when I'm doing posts and need a seven) then this computer will be better again! I'd really like that!
Yeah, I know. My computer is pretty wrecked. But I'd like to fix it!
And for any people who might have thought that by mouse I meant a living, animal mouse, I mean a computer mouse that controlls the pointer thing on the computer :) Though I think everybody got it :) Just in case :)
