OK, so I got 37 posts in 7 days, which I'm happy with! Plus, the week ahead has some really fantastic books! What about you guys? Happy reading!
So this week I want to read Apex, A Conspiracy in Belgravia, Even the Darkest Stars, Godsgrave, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Intensity, Secrets in Death, and Tower of Dawn.

Week 35 Review: The Art of Feeling
Perfect for fans of Jennifer Niven's New York Times bestseller All the Bright Places, this contemporary YA novel explores the friendship between a girl in constant pain and a boy who feels nothing at all.
Since the car accident, Samantha Herring has been in pain, not only from her leg injury, but also from her mother's death, which has devastated her family. After pushing away her friends, Sam has receded into a fog of depression.
But then Sam meets Eliot, a reckless loner with an attitude and an amazing secret—he can't feel any pain. At first, Sam is jealous. But then she learns more about his medical condition…and his self-destructive tendencies. In fact, Eliot doesn't seem to care about anything at all—except maybe Sam. As they grow closer, they begin to confront Sam's painful memories of the accident—memories that may hold a startling truth about what really happened that day.
My Review:
Reading this book was just so fantastic! It was just so sweet and amazing and just great! I mean, there was the whole, her mom was killed in an accident that ruined one of her legs, thing. There was also the grieving process with her family which had some bumps. Oh, and there was Eliot.
I've read another book, Painless, which also has a guy who can't feel pain, but also has all the negative symptoms like not knowing he's injured, or problems with his temperature. I really enjoyed reading about Eliot, because he was also super smart and just a bit off, because he didn't know how to connect to people, he pushed people away before they could do it to him.
A good part of this book was therapy, her family because of the loss of her mom, and Eliot because of his condition. Because of said therapy, she remembers details of the accident, that it wasn't quite an accident as it was thought.
How things ended, that was a pretty perfect ending! Just so fantastic that she was able to forgive the person who caused the accident. That the person who orchestrated it all feels like their future is in ruins, because of their own actions. It was sad, what that person cost them, and why, because it was so pointless to do so, and it caused so much pain. And that they can be together, but not all the time, so he can learn to make other friends. It was really nice and sweet and awesome!
This was a really amazing book, and I just really enjoyed it!

Week 17 Review: Please Don't Tell
Joy killed Adam Gordon—at least, that's what she thinks. The night of the party is hazy at best. But she knows what Adam did to her twin sister, Grace, and she knows he had to pay for it.
What Joy doesn't expect is that someone else saw what happened. And one night a note is shoved through her open window, threatening Joy that all will be revealed. Now the anonymous blackmailer starts using Joy to expose the secrets of their placid hometown. And as the demands escalate, Joy must somehow uncover the blackmailer's identity before Joy is forced to make a terrible choice.
In this darkly compelling narrative, debut author Laura Tims explores the complicated relationship between two sisters, and what one will do for the other. It's a story that will keep readers turning pages and questioning their own sense of right and wrong.
My Review:
I enjoyed this book so much! The fact that it comes out on my birthday is just a nice thing! Such a great story, a compelling mystery, and just so enjoyable! I enjoyed this book so much, and I can't wait to read more by Laura Tims!
We didn't know what had happened to Grace. We knew something had happened, and we could guess, maybe get it right. But it took a while to actually get to what had happened. It's not that I wanted something bad to happen-I wanted to know what had happened, as it was why the current events were occurring!
I enjoyed the back and forth between October/November and the summer, because it all came together, and gave us this story! It kept a good pace, ramping up the tension for one thing while releasing the other.
The blackmailer was pretty creative. To have Joy do all these things, and what Joy went through with the guilt of everything, yeah, great story! And who the blackmailer turned out to be? It was someone I'd never guessed!
Really enjoyed this book, it was such a great book on sexual assault and family!
