OK, so I got 25 posts in 7 days, it was a pretty decent week, I'm taking things a little bit slower, which is nice. What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read The Atlas Complex!

Week 1 Review: Going Bovine

OK, so I got 56 posts in 7 days, I had a really great week, I read so much, and I'm pretty tired. But I have this week off, so that's great! Plus next Monday, so I have 6 workdays plus the weekends off, so that's nice! What about you guys? Happy reading!

Week 39 Review: The King of Crows

The finale to The Diviners from author, Libba Bray.

My Review:
Man, I loved this book so much! This series had been growing towards this point, and when it did, it was so epic! I wasn't sure how things were going to turn out, but I loved watching it all go down! And I think it left off in a good spot!


That ending though? The cost of surviving, and beating the bad guys and what they'd done? That was hard. I do wish that we could've gotten a bit more of the resolution (which is something I almost always want) but I really liked were we left them!

This was an amazing read, and such a great end to the series!

My Review:
This book was so fantastic! By the end of the previous book, these characters had almost all finally come together, all the teenagers, at least! Things are gearing up for the final book, and I just couldn't put this one down!


I just loved reading this book, it was so great, and I can't wait to finish out this series!

My first review of The Diviners
My Review:
I really enjoyed reading these books! They're long, and they follow a lot of characters, who have interconnecting stories-though in the first book, making those connections is the big set up. I loved learning more about the world of the Diviners, and all these ghost problems that NYC is having! 

Evie was an interesting character. She wanted fame, and after the events of the first book, she got it. But she was also traumatized by what happened, and wasn't the best in Lair of Dreams. And with her relationships with Mabel and Jericho and Sam, yeah, things are complicated! 

Lair of Dreams, of course, focused on the dreamwalkers, Henry and Ling. Henry, we got some time with in The Diviners, but we didn't really get his story. So we got his, and hers, in Lair of Dreams, and I really enjoyed learning it! 

There's a few things that are building in these books. Like Jericho, and the guy that created the serum that he's taking. There's all these diviners, and their parents having something iffy about them, about drugs, to be missing or dead, that I can't wait to see what's that going to come to. And the King of Crows, which the final book got its title from. Yeah, I can't wait to see where these things go! 

These were fantastic reads, and I can't wait to continue and finish off this series!

Week 11 Review: The Diviners

My Review:
Oh man, this book! I tried reading it a little while ago, and just couldn't get into it. But since I've really enjoyed her other books, I gave it another go, and I got invested, and oh, once I was, I had such a great time reading this book!

This world with the Diviners, with these supernatural abilities, was really intriguing. Adding in the murder mystery, and all these different perspectives to follow, there was a lot going on in this book, and I just had to know what was going on! 

Watching them start to unravel the mysteries surrounding this death was so entertaining! They were also learning more about what they could do, about each other, and catching some feelings that were ever so lovely to read about! Which was great, because this time period was not a great time to be young, hence the party atmosphere, to avoid thinking about the future. 

The things that were set up in this book, it'll be interesting to see where they go in the future. We've started to get to know these characters (though there are some things that I'm pretty sure we'll find out in the future) and I can't wait to go on those adventures with them! 

This was a really wonderful read, and I can't wait to continue the series!
