OK, so I got  posts in 7 days, What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read Illuminae, Gemina, and Hamilton and Peggy!.

Week 6 Review: Cold Hard Truth

My Review:
This book was so freaking good! My favourite of her books still has to be Lies Beneath, but yeah, I enjoyed this book so much! I was surprised at how quickly I was turning the pages! I have a harder time reading contemporary books, but this had a mix of romance and dealing with past bad choices/mistakes! Which made it so great to read!

One random comment I have is, a character says thespians, and the narrator, Max, comments in his head that the guy was an ass because the way he said it rhymed with lesbians. I thought that was the way that it was pronounced! So what is the right way?

Emmie had Nick's voice in her head. And that messed her up, like that voice would say she didn't deserve friends because she turned on the ones she had. But those people, they weren't her friends. There was a lot of negativity there, and I enjoyed her journey!

Max had something of an anger issue problem, since his girlfriend's death, which he blamed himself for. So they both had their issues. It's just that hers were both mental and outside forces. But they both helped the other, even when times were tough! I loved it!

This book was just really fantastic! I just really enjoyed how all the different elements came together for this excellent book!

OK, so I got 27 posts in 7 days, which is a pretty decent week, I got a lot read, which was really awesome! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read Ask Me How I Got Here, Dark Energy, Exile, Encore to an Empty Room, Finding Abbey Road, The Marked Girl, The Outliers, Ruined, and 26 Kisses.

Week 9 Review: Girl Last Seen

My Review:
Loved reading this book! I loved the different character POV's, the story of Lauren, Jude, Mason and Kady. They were really different and awesome characters with secrets, from before the book started, and when the book ended. So great!

For me, part of this book became a commentary on the justice system and the media, and how people can be blamed with just bare proof, and without consequences to the accusers. And for Lauren and Jude, who we are pretty sure throughout the book are innocent, but they were attacked pretty viciously by strangers on the internet...yeah. Not a fun situation!

I am really glad that Kady is a made up person. Because if she was real, the world would be just all the more messed up. What she did, what she pretended, what she lied about, how she treated people, that was just horrible!

And that ending! Oh, wow, that was creepy and pretty amazing! I kinda read it before I was halfway done the book, so I knew what was going to happen, but still, reading it in the proper order, that was enough to give me some chills!

Really fantastic book from authors that I've really enjoyed their separate works, and now this collaboration!

OK, so I got 23 posts in 7 days, and I'm falling behind, like how this post isn't finished yet, but it'll be soon, because I'm in November of Reward Challenge posts, which is what's been taking up my non-reading time, and then I'll bring everything back up to speed, and I think it'll feel great! Week 25 Review: Promise Bound

In fact, she's been dreaming as if she were Nadia! And Nadia, it seems, made a promise before her death. A promise to reunite Calder's biological mother with her son. Lily knows merfolk are bound to keep their promises. Calder's not buying into it, though. He chalks up the dreams to stress. He wants Lily to focus on the future—their future, not the past. What both of them overlook is the present: Calder's sisters, Maris and Pavati, are fighting for control of the mermaid clan, and now that Lily and her dad have transformed into mer-creatures, both mermaids vie for daughter and father as allies. Which of the two mermaids can be trusted? Will Lily make costly mistakes, forcing her to descend to the depths of Lake Superior? And if Calder returns, will he be the same merman Lily grew to love? The stakes are high, with many lives at risk, but Calder and Lily must confront the past as well as their darkest impulses if they want a chance at being together.

My Review:
Oh, this was a pretty spectacular end to the series! And it dealt with a question that was kinda lingering in the back of readers minds-who were Calder's human parents? And we find out the answer, and yeah, that was a pretty interesting discovery!

The knife, from the 2nd book, and how the sister thought that it was somehow used in connection to Jack's death, I wonder why Lily didn't tell the truth about that, because it didn't have anything to do with Jack's death. Like, nothing at all except that it was a mermaid that killed him, and the knife is a mermaid artefact. And that's a thin connection at best.

I felt so sorry for Calder and Lily, how basically Nadia is keeping them apart, by keeping Lily up till she got Calder to fulfil the promise Nadia made to Calder's human mom, and yeah, he had to leave to go deal with that, not too fun.

While there were things that I wish that we'd gotten, like how what's her name dealt with it, Jack's sister, and the reactions to the ending, basically, I wish that it was longer, because yeah, I want to know more about the after effects of what happened, because I'm pretty sure Pavati's love got turned into a merman!

Yeah, this was just a really great book, and while I'm sad that it wasn't longer, it was still freaking good!
