OK, so I got 62 posts in 7 days, and it was a nice relaxing week, but alas, today, I'm back at work. But I read some great books, Jax is doing better, it turned out to be his anal gland, so it was able to be taken care of and he's been healing nicely which is great. What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read whatever I want!

Week 22 Review: Knot So Lucky

From Goodreads:
Me: Ask me what happens in Vegas…

Samantha: What happens in Vegas?

Me: Let me tell you.

What happens is that you get "make out with strangers and pee in a parking lot" drunk.

TIE THE KNOT WITH A GUY YOU JUST MET.

Then *allegedly* participate in depraved group activities with him and his friends in the honeymoon suite of a five-star hotel.

But that's not even the worst part.

Because after an epic walk of shame, you find out he's some insanely famous bad-boy quarterback who's in the midst of cleaning up his act.

So now, you have to pretend to like him… sober…until you can skip town with an annulment and a shirt that reads, "I'd hit that."

Except for bam—tiny hiccup, his personality cancels out his hot AF face.

And let's not mention how you definitely took a trip to pound town with his friends.

So, yeah. That's what happens in Vegas.

You get Knot so Lucky even when you think you hit the jackpot.

My Review:
This was such a fun book to read! I really enjoyed the previous book in the one series, and I couldn't wait to read about this woman in these circumstances, marrying this stranger, and hooking up with all of  his friends! It was such fun to read!

I really enjoyed the first book in the Holidates series, and I was looking forward to this one, it sounded like a lot of fun, and oh, it was. The humour was just excellent, and raunchy, which, given it's a reverse harem romance, made absolute sense!

Watching Elle fall into this situation, marrying an up and coming football player, right at a point when he needs a clean image-and they had a Vegas wedding including him sharing her with some other guys? Yeah, complicated, especially when they can't get the marriage nullified right away.

Their banter was so much fun to read, because man, he looked great but he didn't act that way, and it's a good thing that he had a whole book to become someone that she'd want to stick around with more than just what they got up to in the bedroom. But so much fun to read!

Really enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait to continue on with these series!

Magical Readathon: Orilium:

OK, so I got 47 posts in 7 days, and it was a pretty great week, I read a good amount of really great books, and I can't wait for this coming week! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read Hell Bent!

Wealth. Power. Murder. Magic. Alex Stern is back and the Ivy League is going straight to hell.

Find a gateway to the underworld. Steal a soul out of hell. A simple plan, except people who make this particular journey rarely come back. But Galaxy “Alex” Stern is determined to break Darlington out of purgatory—even if it costs her a future at Lethe and at Yale.

Forbidden from attempting a rescue, Alex and Dawes can’t call on the Ninth House for help, so they assemble a team of dubious allies to save the gentleman of Lethe. Together, they will have to navigate a maze of arcane texts and bizarre artifacts to uncover the societies’ most closely guarded secrets, and break every rule doing it. But when faculty members begin to die off, Alex knows these aren’t just accidents. Something deadly is at work in New Haven, and if she is going to survive, she’ll have to reckon with the monsters of her past and a darkness built into the university’s very walls.

Thick with history and packed with Bardugo’s signature twists, Hell Bent brings to life an intricate world full of magic, magic, violence, and all too real monsters.

Week 1 Review: Tangled in Tinsel

From Goodreads:
Imagine being snowed in with four hot successful men.
P.S. they've all played the hero in too many of your naughtiest dreams.
Problem is, you work for them, and that makes them off-limits.
Except now they're looking at you like you're Santa's cookies.
And they definitely want to take a bite.
Talk about making you reconsider your life choices.
These four are aiming for Santa's naughty list, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting:
Jace
Reed
Alec
...and Cole
for Christmas.

It might've started as a decorating job.
But it ended Tangled in Tinsel.

My Review:
Oh man, this book! I saw someone reading it, and it sounded like a fun Christmas time! And it was, I loved reading about Sam and her guys' snowed in time together! There was laughter and there was some very dirty, naughty scenes!

Sam is snowed in right before Christmas, with 4 really good looking guys, who happen to be her bosses. What she doesn't know is that they love to get together with one woman, for a short period of time, and where going to ask her to be that one after her contract was done in the new year. But now that they're trapped, what better time?

I really enjoyed how they different guys were different, Cole was the serious one, Reed was the charming one, Jace was the nice one, and Alec was the steady one. They were more then just these descriptors, but it was easy to tell the difference between them.

This really is a rom com, of course there's a ton of romance, but it was also a lot of fun! Samantha has a tendency to babble when nervous, and that was adorable. Also, at one point when she's coming to a decision, she decides she needs more information, and comes out all bundled up, and it was just hilarious!

This was such a fun read, and I can't wait to read future books in this series!
