My Review:
I really enjoyed this book, about these three Elizabeth's who become ladies in waiting for the court of King Charles II. I really enjoyed one of her books, and so I just had to read this one, it was YA, and I just love YA!

I really enjoyed reading about three girls who had different nicknames from the same name, and their lives, being the ladies in waiting for the Queen of England. It might not be what they want, but for some of them, it could be a stepping stone on the path to what they do want!

So I didn't know why King Charles II''s court was the most scandal-filled court that England ever saw before I read this book. And then I read this book, and there were so many things going on, lots of plots and manipulations, and yeah, that was only a quick look!

The ending, was pretty sad. One girl, she was dreaming of the day she'd die and go to heaven, and being in heaven. Another was pretty happy, which was great. And the final girl, she was content. But not happy. So it was a bit of a sad ending for me!

I did enjoy it a lot, there were a lot of great things going on in this book to read about!

My first review of Born of Silence
My Review:
I enjoyed rereading this book so much! It's a Sherrilyn Kenyon book, so of course I'm going to enjoy it a lot, and that I enjoyed it the first time is a bonus! It was just so fantastic again, and being with these characters, going on Zarya and Darling's journey, it was just so good!

So I pretty much remembered what happened, from the sweet beginning, to Darling's necklace thing being stolen and used on his sister, his torture, saving, and his relationship with Zarya, and when he rescues her. And that she was alive after the video that showed her dying under torture. Because they brought her back!

There were moments of utter horror, like when Zarya was told of what had happened to him while she was just a few doors down, despairing about Kere, but putting on a happy face. And moments of utter hilarity, like when Zarya screamed, and the guys were all, she's being tortured, but nope, Darling's in bed with her. So funny! Or when at the end, at their big official wedding, when she pregnancy hurls on his shoes! So cute!

This story has really hard parts to read. Darling was tortured so bad, that he wasn't sane for a while there. It took more then Maris, but Zarya, to bring him down, and yeah, reading them go on that journey again, it was just utterly enthralling!

I love this book so much, it's so good, and I can't wait for more books in this series!

My Review:
I enjoyed reading this book so much! It was so entertaining, overall, the tone was light, but there were issues and conflicts that spruced things up, and kept me and the characters on their toes! Really fantastic to read it!

So Phoebe had a big conflict. On one hand, she wanted to get the inheritance from her grandfather in marrying a duke. But the guy that she fell in love with is the brother of the duke, not the duke himself, so wouldn't count. So there's the choice there!

This book was just so hilarious! The situations that the characters got into, the way that they talked, maybe not so appropriate for the times, but so awesome, was so great to read! I could connect to these characters, they were real!

I found it just hilarious, that they kidnapped the one person who was trying to do what they were trying to do, to break up the wedding! That, yeah, was just too funny, that situation! Though being kidnapped was not a fun experience!

I enjoyed this book so much, so glad that I read it, and now to read more of the series!

Week 5 Review: House at the End of the Street

My Review:
So I did watch the movie first, that's why I even knew about this book. So I did know what was going to happen in this book, so it wasn't as mysterious as the movie. But it was just as creepy, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

Knowing that Ryan was the bad guy, and that Elissa was staring a relationship with him, and knowing that it was a bad idea, I just had to read it, to go on that journey in a book media format! And it was pretty great doing that!

Reading this book, I couldn't help but compare it to the movie, because they tell the same story, just in different mediums, and what changes could've happened from the book to the movie, well, I had to pick them out!

Like the fact that the cop helped cover up Carrie Anne's death, that was a detail in the book that was really great to read about, though not a good one for the characters! But yeah, this was a pretty great book with a great ending!

I enjoyed this book a lot, it was creepy and awesome!

My Review:
Yes! This book was really fantastic! I haven't read any of her adult novels, since that's not my sort of thing, but I have heard of them. Which is why I was so excited to hear about this book, a YA book-and series at that!-written by Philippa Gregory, well, I just had to read it!

First off, I really, really enjoyed these characters! Isolde, whose situation was just totally unfair, she was supposed to inherit her father's estate, but because of plottings of the guys, is sent to a nunnery. Luca, a young man who has recently been inducted to a secret group, and sent to investigate curious things out in the world. And both of their servants, Ishraq and Freize. They were so great to read about!

Then there was the mystery, of what was going on at the nunnery. Because Isolde isn't a witch, and neither is Ishraq, but the nuns are still sleepwalking and the various odd and strange things. And what it turns out to be, well, yeah, that was just a little bit sinister!

Really enjoyed the ending, because this is the start of the series, and yeah, this ending, was just perfect! They're going on the journey, together because it's convenient, to go apply for help, and go on to investigate the next case. And maybe, kinda, falling in love, the two couples!

This was a really great, fantastic book, and I can't wait to read more!

My Review:
Oh, I enjoyed this book so much! It was just so dark, and creepy, and just awesome! I mean, a, well, plague that kills kids, and if they survive, they have powers that are classified in colours? Myself, I think I'd like to be a Blue, since my favourite colours are Red and Blue, and I don't like fire. And I while I like the Green abilities, Green is my least favourite colour, which kinda sucks for me, since my eyes, from a distance, are green!

So Ruby was awesome! We slowly get her story, from the start where she's entering the camp, and the important bits from those years, and then the main story is from just before a group called the Children's League breaks her out, to when she joins up with them in a deal. And in that, we get how she accidentally used her powers on her parents, how she was captured by the PSF's!

I loved the clue! And then how Ruby figures it out! Because they were thinking EDO, then Ruby thought O could be 0, and making it a part of a zip code, and then figuring out it was actually a radio station! That aired the location in a frequency that only kids that lived through IAAN could hear! So great!

Oh, Clancy! You had potential to be great! But then you were the bad guy! Or one of them, at least! Because this world is in shades of grey! Though Clancy is one of the darkest shades there is, because of his actions in this book!

Wow, I enjoyed this book so much, and I can't wait for more! It was just so good, and that ending! It hurt me!

My Review:
I really loved reading this book! It was so fantastic, and while it's becoming more often that Norse mythology is in books, well, the way that it was done in this book was so fresh and unique, and I just loved reading it! So entertaining and great!

I was really thrilled to be in this world, it was a bit mysterious as first, and then things were happening, and it was, what the heck is going on? And then answers were found, before it got even more complicated, and it was just so darned great!

It was really different to have Odin as the bad guy, usually he's the head guy in charge of the good guys, so yeah, having him as the bad guy, that was really fantastic! And just really makes me want to have more of this series then a prequel novella!

And then that ending! Back in the US, but then getting that package with the kick ass outfit, yeah, that was a really awesome ending! And now I just want another book just to have her wear it, because that'd be awesome!

I enjoyed this book so much, it was a really great, awesome book, and I want to read more by Ingrid Paulson!

My Review:
Oh, I loved these books! And I wish that I'd read them in time line, because yeah, it would've added to the experience, because these 2 books happened between 2 Cat and Bones books, and yeah, it would've been better to have them all together!!!

Loved Denise and Spade, Kira and Mencheres, because they were really great couples, they worked together, and they were just fun to read about! I mean, a turning into a demon girl and a vampire guy who was friends with Bones, and then a human private investigator and the maker of Ian and Spade, and the grandsire of Bones! Yeah, just awesome people, who deserved to be happy!

In Crimson, we got to learn more about demons, and yeah, how Denise was connected to the demon, how an ancestor of hers made a deal with a demon, and then renegades, and then how now the demon started killing members of her family, and that's why she has to go on the quest to find said ancestor! And how demon blood is a drug for vampires? Yeah, that was something else!

That Mencheres was a Pharaoh, that was something that I didn't know, and it was interesting to find out, because yeah, these characters! And when Kira finds out out the comments, critiquing on her death, and her reaction? Quite funny. Or when she was escaping, and he was outside almost the entire time, watching her, that was pretty funny, too!

Yeah, I really enjoyed reading these books, and yeah, can't wait to read more!!!

My Review:
So this was a really fantastic book! I enjoyed it so much, it was really powerful to read this book, because it's about a relationship that was secretly violent-and then the perpetrator of the violence is killed, and the victim is thought maybe to be the bad guy. Yeah.

We, the readers, are on Allie's side, because Trip was a horrible person. And she was basically the only one that knew that, which really sucks. And then add on to the fact that she doesn't remember what happened, makes things even worse for her!

I really did not like Trip. He was self-entitled, and he deserved to be punished with jail time, death is sometimes too easy. And it doesn't matter that he was passing on what he dad did to him, that doesn't mean that he had to continue the cycle!

I really enjoyed that ending, it was really good, to have some happy endings for the good characters, yeah, that was really great to read! I was happy for the characters, they both deserved, and earned, those happy endings!

Really great book, I really was glad to read it!

Week 5 Review: 52 Reasons to Hate My Father

My Review:
This was a really sweet book. And on one hand, she did kinda deserve this. But it shouldn't have been something her trust fund was dependent on, but I guess that was just about the only thing that would motivate her to do this.

That he did this for her own good, we can see that, because we haven't grown up like she did. Which is partially his fault. But anyways. She didn't, and so that was a pretty big source of conflict! So great to read! And then when she started these jobs, oh, wow!

I didn't really like her in the beginning. But she was a smart girl, and she looked for the silver lining. And then there was the relationship between her and Luke, which was really sweet and funny and cute to read about!

The ending was really great! That even though her dad had taken off the whole thing that she had to do these jobs for a year to keep her trust fund, that she kept going. I found that really admirable! Plus, the place where her dad got the list, from menial jobs that now rich people have, yeah, that was pretty cool!

This was a really great, sweet book, and so hilarious, and I can't wait to read more books by Jessica Brody!

My Review:
Oh, this was a really fantastic book! Like Riley and Beck are like, an official couple by the end of this book, and yeah, we got to learn a ton about Beck, and yeah, this book was just so freaking good! I loved it so much!

I enjoyed that beginning, where they're at Beck's home town, and the things that we learn about him? Yeah, they are things that have been a mystery from, like, the beginning, so it was just so good to learn this things! I was so excited!

These characters! They are so real, like Beck's mom, Sadie, she wasn't much of a mother, or a human being, and that's what made her real. But she hurt Beck, so I didn't like her at all! Ori and Simon pretty much redeemed themselves, in this book, too, which was nice to read!

That ending, I enjoyed it a lot, things were wrapped up. Mostly. Riley still owes the favour to heaven, so while we probably won't see what she'll have to do because of that, well, we know it's there, and we can imagine some adventures for her!

Foretold was a really great ending to this wonderful series, I enjoyed it so much, and I can't wait to read more Jana Oliver books!
