Week 16 Review: Faebound

From Goodreads:
From the Sunday Times bestselling author of THE FINAL STRIFE, comes an enchanting new trilogy.

DIVIDED BY BLOOD.

IMPRISONED BY FATE.

BOUND BY DESIRE.

WELCOME TO THE INTOXICATING WORLD OF THE FAE.

Yeeran is a warrior in the elven army and has known nothing but violence her whole life. Her sister, Lettle, is trying to make a living as a diviner, seeking prophecies of a better future.

When a fatal mistake leads to Yeeran's exile from the Elven lands, they are both forced into the terrifying wilderness beyond their borders. There they encounter the impossible: the fae court.

The fae haven't been seen for a millennium. But now Yeeran and Lettle are thrust into their seductive world – torn between their loyalty to each other, their elven homeland, and their hearts. . .

My Review:
Oh, I loved reading this book! It sounded really good, and I am interested in her other series, but this is the one that I picked up first, and I'm so glad I did! I had such a fantastic time reading this book, getting to know these characters and this world!

We know that things go wrong pretty quickly right away, with Yeeran following Lettle's prophecy, which was really close to pressing one of my buttons. But I kept going, and it quickly went to the consequences, which wasn't great, given what they were, but it didn't linger, which was good!

Learning things that turned their world on its head, like what the creatures that they killed were linked to Fae lives, that's pretty huge, not to mention that the Fae are still around. I had such a great time watching them learn more about the Fae, and what that meant for their world, while trying to get home!

This world isn't easy, there's a lot of complications and difficulties, and some hard choices are made. The politics between the Fae and the Elves, and what's to come? Yeah, I can't wait to see how these events and reveals will play out in the future books!

Utterly loved reading this book and I can't wait for the sequel!
