Week 47 Review: Fragments of the Lost

From Goodreads:
From the New York Times bestselling author of All the Missing Girls and The Perfect Stranger comes a suspenseful psychological mystery about one girl's search to uncover the truth behind her ex-boyfriend's death. Perfect for fans of We Were Liars and 13 Reasons Why.

Jessa Whitworth knew she didn't belong in her ex-boyfriend Caleb's room. But she couldn't deny that she was everywhere: in his photos, his neatly folded T-shirts, even the butterfly necklace in his jeans pocket . . . the one she gave him for safe keeping on that day.

His mother asked her to pack up his things, even though she blames Jessa for his accident. How could she say no? And maybe, just maybe, it will help her work through the guilt she feels about their final moments together.

But as Jessa begins to box up the pieces of Caleb's life, they trigger memories that make Jessa realize their past relationship may not be exactly as she remembered. And she starts to question whether she really knew Caleb at all.

Each fragment of his life reveals a new clue that propels Jessa to search for the truth about Caleb's accident. What really happened on the storm-swept bridge?

My Review:
I loved reading this book! I love her writing, and this was the last book that has currently been published that I hadn't read by her, so I've now caught up, which I'm really happy with. Her stories are just so fantastic, and the mysteries so intriguing and intricate!

Being asked to pack up your ex-boyfriends effects after his death by his mom, that's an awful place to be put in. They had their problems, especially given that they'd broken up, but that didn't mean that they didn't care about each other still. At least until he died.

To find out things about this person who you used to care about deeply that you didn't know, it's unsettling. I wanted to know the truth of him, and the truth of what happened when he died. Seeing as new information came to light, I had to find out!

Megan Miranda just has the touch with mysteries. They're original and unexpected, and you never know where things are going to go. As we had Jessa investigating, we saw bits and pieces of the past-it was just a question of how things came together, and how they did was just fantastic!

Loved reading this book and I can't wait to read more by Megan Miranda!
