First Lines Friday #731, May 16th

First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.

-Grab your current read(s)
-Share the first line(s)
-Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists!

"'We're going to have to discuss dresses eventually, October,' said May, holding up a bridal magazine and waving it at me like a weapon. 'Something pretty. Something lacy. Something—and this is the part I can't stress enough—that you’re actually willing to wear.' 'It doesn’t matter what I wear to the wedding, we both know it's going to be completely covered in blood before we reach "I do,"' I said scornfully. 'Do purebloods even say, "I do"?' Having never been to a pureblood wedding before, I was woefully uninformed about their customs. Thanks to my mother, my wedding knowledge is much more romantic comedy than formal fairy tale."-A Killing Frost by Seanan McGuire

I've never planned a wedding, never been a part of a wedding party besides as a flower girl so I only know pop culture references to it as being difficult to plan, so stresses make absolute sense! Must reread more now! What about you guys? Happy reading!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
