My Review:
I enjoyed this book so much! I've enjoyed her other series, and yeah, this one is started off with a pretty incredible book! Such a great, well detailed world, and I really enjoyed how the system worked, you had to have the power, but then you had to work and use it, and the materials were strange, but cool!

I enjoyed all the mysteries that were going on in this book! From Mateo who just has something strange about him, and the friend that Nadia makes, and how she's connected-or not-to everything, was just awesome to read about!

Mateo did get on my nerves, what with his back and forth with her, it was annoying and likeable! But in the end, he was better then that in the end, and plus, it wasn't really his fault, it was her's, for the curse that's on the town!

Oh, that ending! That the bad guy was happy, well, that's never a good sign! But for the moment, they came alive, and mostly healthy, so that's a win, for now! More battles to fight, later, though! And I can't wait to read them!

Really enjoyed this book, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next book!

Week 31 Review: Reboot

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book! So unique and original, though it kinda sucks that only the younger people actually come back, but it's kinda worse, that a 12 year old would come back, and then train to be a solider, and then do the same to others.

The whole idea of kids coming back as reboots, well, it's really interesting! Though, of course, this is a dystopian book, so yeah, of course it's all twisted around, and they're used as soldiers, which is not cool at all!

Because yeah, some of the big themes that this book touched upon for me, were government, slavery, control, death, and murder, in varying orders, because this book had all of that! It was all mixed in together, but it was there!

Loved that Callum was the one that brought out her humanity, making her see that the number didn't matter, just because she rebooted, doesn't mean that she isn't still human. And yeah, with all of the elements in this book, the mystery, the romance, and everything, that was the best part!

Really enjoyed this book, and I can't wait for more!

My Review:
I just enjoyed reading both of these so much! Bitch let us see more of Chloe and Bennett, and really, who could get enough of them? And Stranger gave us a look at a new couple, but that are connected to Chloe and Bennett, so yeah, that was really great!

So Bitch was really awesome, I loved how she texted him that she didn't get flight after flight, when it turns out that she got on the first one, to surprise him! Well, he was surprised! And when the proposal happened, well, yeah, that was really great!

I enjoyed the things that Max and Sara got up to, they aren't my thing, but it was their style, and they went with it! Each to their own, I guess! As long as it's not against the law, and it's what they want, then go right on ahead!

Things happened, and there was the leaked photos, and that situation sucked, but in the end, it resolved pretty nicely, with them together, and that's pretty much all you can ask of a romance, besides for it to hopefully be good!

I really enjoyed reading these, and I can't wait to read more!

Week 31 Review: Game For Marriage

My Review:
This such a great book! So funny, and awesome! Just the idea of a fake marriage (which has been done before) but with the no sex clause, well, yeah, that makes things interesting, since there is that attraction between them!

I really enjoyed their story, they worked well together, they just had some kinks that they had to work out before they really hit their stride, and this book was about them learning about each other, working out their problems, and falling in love! It was great to read!

Their story was about them, learning to work together. It was also about the both of them, as individuals, and learning about each of them, which was really great. Because they were people that were interesting, and would want to know!

Really enjoyed how it all worked out, because it was good, and worked out well! The whole issue with the fake marriage with the no sex clause worked out fine, and they ended up happy together, and yeah, it was a great ending to a great book!

I enjoyed this so much, and I can't wait to read more of this series, this book started an excellent one, I just know it!

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book! The rules, while designed to keep her safe, well, safe is one thing. Having a life is another. And so during this book, well Ariane breaks away from safe, to live her life, in the way of her own choosing!

I loved the alternating POV's of Ariane and Zane, because that got us into both of their heads, and seeing what they were thinking, in combination with how they were action, well, it really helped us see them, and that was really great!

Ariane was a really smart person. It was easy to tell, from how she was acting. And I really liked that, that she was smart, and she was strong in a number of ways-though it was how she was made, not something she's developed in a gym. But her situation cultivated the other types of strength!

Oh, that ending? That what the whole program was? And just who was involved? And that the whole break out was just another step in evaluating her, that they were watching her the whole time? That was a hurtful ending, but they do get away in the end, so that's a plus!

Really great book, really enjoyable, and now I just can't wait for more! I really, really want more!

My Review:
I just absolutely loved reading this book! It's just so great and addicting, with such great characters, and conflicts, that just make my heart pound and my head wonder what's going to happen next, because you never ask if it could get worse-you wonder what that "worse" is going to be!

The stakes are raising, even more, because it's the 3rd book in the series-and the fourth one is the last as we currently know it. So there's that. And then there's all these things that are going on, well, it's dangerous for pretty much everyone!

The reaction of Leo, when he finds out that Tiki is a Queen? Yeah, that was really hilarious! It pretty much made the book, after all the struggles, in trying to defeat or at least circumvent Donegal! Just so great!

Oh, that ending? With Larkin and Clara? Oh, man, that was a hard ending! I guess some of it should be expected, that Larkin was Clara's mother. But that Larkin would do that to Clara if Tiki didn't give over the crown to her? Not cool, dude!

Such a great book, with such a cliffhanger, I just want more now! I wants it, I wants it!

My Review:
Loved reading this book again! It was just so freaking good, and I really enjoyed being in the world again, and yeah, the only thing that could make it better, is if there's a 3rd book, however improbably that is! I just want more time in the world!

I loved the brief look in at Percen and Heather, and their son, who were in the last book, and yeah, that was a great update in their lives, in their happily ever after, and yeah, I enjoyed it a lot! So very cute, and a lot of the reason why I read books!

The idea that a guy would willingly be a slave, just so that he could stay with the lady that he loves, is a bittersweet idea. The staying with her is sweet, the slave part being bitter. Because people in love are supposed to be in a balanced, equal relationship. Not having half of the partnership enslaved!

But it ends really well, happy and together, and yeah, it's just a really great ending! I just enjoyed that, having these characters that fought for a happily ever after, get it, and then live with it, yeah, that was really great!

I really enjoyed rereading this book, it was really fantastic! And I just want at least a 3rd book in this series!

Week 31 Review: The Nymph King

My Review:
Ah, this was a really great book! It was, I think, the last one that I read of this series the first time, because I simply just couldn't get a couple! I eventually got one in a Secret Santa, which was really great, because it's a Gena Showalter book, so I just had to have it!

I loved how Shaye was the only one, really, that fought Valerian's attempts of seduction. And and how another kidnapped lady, fended off another nymph's attentions. Because of course, the one that doesn't want to typical nymph treatment is the one for that Nymph!

Oh, that part where the dragons try to take back their castle, and what the gods did to them, yeah, that was just hilarious! So funny, I loved that! Because yeah, this is the book where the gods really became characters, so yeah, that was great!

Really enjoyed how this book ended, with Shayne writing poems that are all lovey-dovey, mushy, stuff, that are sold in the market, yeah, that was just fantastic! I enjoyed that a lot! And knowing that Layel's going to get his book next makes it all the better!

What a great book, and while I'm almost done rereading this series, I'm not sad, because there's always rereading!

My first review of Acheron 
My Review:
OK, this book, yeah, loved rereading it, after all, its one of my most top favourite books ever, it's one of the top 1 books I've ever read. That's how much I enjoyed it, both the first time, and this time, too, because it's Ash and Tory's story! Just absolute love for it!

There are parts that I just absolutely love to read in it! Like the scene where she throws a hammer at him, or when Simi wants to be called Similious, and he'd prefer to be an underwear model, or when he gets drunk on Sprite! That was just hilarious!

I just had to get past the history parts, when Ash was young. Because he had a pretty horrible past, and was in a lot of pain! And yeah, I have to say, writing this after reading Styxx, that everybody makes mistakes, from the ones that we saw, to the ones that we didn't.

Their happily ever after, at least for now, and always together unless death or the plant thing, part them, was just really great, and in combination with reading his blog posts on Sherrilyn Kenyon's website here,

I just love this book so much, it's just so freaking good, and now I can't wait to reread the rest of the series, for Styxx!

Out of Order-Catch Up Needed

Ok, so my computer, the one that I got last year for my birthday, started restarted every 2 hours or less 2 weeks ago. Last week, I took it in to get it fixed. And technically, yesterday, I got it back, but the hard drive had to be replaced, so bear/bare with me as I get things back in order!!!!

Fire & Shadow: Review

My Review:
I'll be honest and say that this book didn't capture my heart and imagination as much as the Valkyrie series. But that would be hard to do, seeing as it's one of my top series! This book, it was really enjoyable, and I did enjoy and like and love it a lot. It just didn't reach that really high, high peak that I have to have, given the sheer volume of books that I read (and almost all love!)

I enjoyed the Hindu mythology. It's not often that you read that, the only other time that I can remember is the Tiger saga by Colleen Houck, so yeah, that was a treat, it's nice and unique, and I just enjoyed reading about Maya starting on this journey, being The Hand of Kali!

And then there was the reincarnation, which is a bit more popular topic, but I loved how it was handled, and how it worked, and while it was a minor part in the book, I have a feeling that it might become more important, especially when the states get higher, and so do the risks!

Between all the characters, I was just surrounded by depth. Maya had her ticks, which was pretty evident from the first page, and then there's Nik, who is a story in and within of himself, and then Maya's 2 best friends, they were just awesome! I just enjoyed all the good guys in this book!

I enjoyed this book so much, and I can't wait to read more!
