Week 20 Reviews: Sweet Evil Extra 1, Sweet Evil Extra 2, Sweet Evil

From Goodreads:
Chapter One of SWEET EVIL from Kaidan Rowe's point of view.

From Goodreads:

Chapter 26 - Halloween (the "freckle scene"), from Kaidan's Point of View

This scene gets us deeper into Kai's mind than we've ever delved before. It *might* have made Wendy cry a little when she wrote it.

From Goodreads:
Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

My first review of Sweet Evil
My Review:
Oh, oh, man, I just loved this book and 2 chapters from Kai's POV! So good, just as great as the first time I read it, and yeah, those chapters enriched the experience, because Kai was there, and yeah, we got to be inside his head!

I loved reading about Anna's journey, from being innocent and not knowing about her heritage except that she does have super powered senses, to finding out, and falling in love, but that in this world, for her and Kai, it's just too dangerous for them to be together, which was so sad!

And since I know a bit from what I remember of what's coming next, there were just moments where it was so bittersweet, that they were so happy, that mention of the last time they'd laugh in a while, her and Kai just before they reached California, and yeah, things went pretty downhill from their pretty quickly!

I loved their romance, a high stakes, reasons changed Romeo and Juliet, what with demons, and that their families are at least allies, but they still aren't allowed to be with each other, that they'd be killed by their dads (well, in Anna's case, some other Duke) yeah. Not fun.

I really enjoyed rereading this book, and
