Week 20 Review: Sister, Sister

From Goodreads:
From the bestselling author of The Girl Who Lied

Alice: Beautiful, kind, manipulative, liar.

Clare: Intelligent, loyal, paranoid, jealous.

Clare thinks Alice is a manipulative liar who is trying to steal her life.

Alice thinks Claire is jealous of her long-lost return and place in their family.

One of them is telling the truth. The other is a maniac. Two sisters. One truth.

My Review:
I really enjoyed reading this book! The synopsis is short and hooking, and I just had to know what was going to happen! It's a rare book that doesn't take place in the US, so yeah, that was just really a great part of this book!

Clare grew up with her family split-staying with her mom, and her dad taking her sister to the US, and then basically losing contact. And then Alice comes, and things are thrown around, because Alice being lost to the family was kinda a big deal.

The dynamics of this family were a big part of this book, the whole, who was telling the truth, and who was being a manipulative liar. Of course, things were much more complicated than that, but those dynamics were really interesting to read about!

The ending was pretty fantastic! After all the twists, turns and second guessing, it came to a head, and that was just a little chilling! And yeah, that ending was more than just a little creepy! But it fit so well with the book, and I loved reading it!

This was a really great, fantastic, enjoyable book!
