Waiting on Wednesday #4, May 18th

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Sping, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
Expected Publication Date: August 23rd 2011
BLOOD DOESN'T LIE

Sydney is an alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of human and vampires. They protect vampire secrets - and human lives. When Sydney is torn from her bed in the middle of the night, at first she thinks she's still being punished for her complicated alliance with dhampir Rose Hathaway. But what unfolds is far worse. Jill Dragomir - the sister of Moroi Queen Lissa Dragomir - is in mortal danger, and the Moroi must send her into hiding.

To avoid a civil war, Sydney is called upon to act as Jill's guardian and protector, posing as her roommate in the last place anyone would think to look for vampire royalty - a human boarding school in Palm Springs, California. But instead of finding safety at Amberwood Prep, Sydney discovers the drama is only just beginning...

  1. This book is also on my to-read list :). Do you follow Richelle Mead's blog? I'm so excited for the characters she's chosen for the POVs in the story. And the cover is so beautiful--love that they made sure to include Sydney's tattoo. Good choice :)! We've only got a couple months left!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
