The hours that I got at work listening to audiobooks. I'm not getting as much right now, but I'm most likely going to go back once some things get sorted out. More books means a happier me! Especially since I'm up to 3-3.5 audiobook speed! What about you guys? Happy reading!
Oh wow! 3-3.5 audiobook speed is insane - I'm actually jealous! I listen to most of my audiobooks on 2-2.5x speed, and it is always so funny when someone accidentally hears my book. I always get looks of "Girl, you're crazy." But it really has made it easier to read more books every year!
ReplyDeleteIt's wild to me, too. But when I started, I was at 1 speed, because I have a thing where it's hard to understand what a person is saying when I can't see them (phone calls are a source of anxiety for me.) But with all this time that I had to listen to audiobooks (and consuming more books was a big incentive for me) I was able to work up to this speed. But with earbuds, because if it's speaker, then it's more a jumbled mess of words. But earbuds, used to be 3 consecutive hours a day, every day, helped me to get up to that speed. Reading more books is always great, it's why I've read the most this year that I ever had, I've gotten over 800 books, novellas, short stories and entries on Goodreads. Thanks for stopping by!
