Week 4 Review: The Chase

From Goodreads:
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there's no logical reason why I'm so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don't usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he's buddy-buddy with my brother.

And that his best friend has a crush on me.

And that I just moved in with them.

Oh, did I not mention we're roommates?

I suppose it doesn't matter. Fitzy has made it clear he's not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I'm not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I'm not about to start. I've got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he's missing?

He knows where to find me.

My Review:
This was such a fun read! I loved her original series set at Briar U, Off Campus, and I just had to read this spin off series! And it was such a great read, and I can't wait to read the other couple's stories, they're going to be just read, I know it!

We briefly met Summer in Dean's book, they are siblings. And Fitzy was a part of the last book, maybe the last 2 books. Summer is really outgoing, she's kinda chaos personified. And Fitz, he's a geek who does well as a hockey athlete, but he's an introvert. They've very much opposites, but that's also why they work!

The fact that they end up roommates, with two other guys? Yeah, that's a recipe for a disaster. There was a lot of complicated feelings, and some poor choices were made, since they were both denying their feelings for one another. It worked out in the end, but it was bumpy!

There was more going on in this book besides their relationship, they were both dealing with some issues, and there were some serious issues in there. I don't know how well done it was, but that they were there, talking about them, was great!

I had a really great time reading this book, and I can't wait to continue the series!
