New York Times Bestseller Dianna Love's latest urban fantasy is a high-action roller coaster ride in the deadly preternatural world of the Beladors and their dragon king.
Belador Maistir Vladimir Quinn and his team are hunting preternatural predators targeting innocent humans in Atlanta. A powerful entity behind the brutal attacks is determined to force their dragon king out into the open by threatening Belador families and exposing the preternatural world to humans.
When Quinn's daughter is kidnapped, he has no idea where to look. He could use the help of fiery Reese O'Rinn and her remote viewing ability, but he has even less chance of locating Reese, who vanished into thin air the last time they met. When the VIPER coalition refuses to aid the Beladors, their dragon king invokes the ancient rule of cosaint to protect his people, but will that backfire on Quinn, the dragon and the Beladors?
While racing to help a friend, Evalle lands in a trap where she's given the unimaginable choice to either destroy her dragon king or condemn everyone she loves to die. Even her Skinwalker mate, Storm, has no way to track her this time. Friendships and allies are tested as Atlanta erupts with preternatural exposure.
Who will join Storm and Daegan to go where even a dragon has no chance of survival? With the enemy willing to gamble everything to take down Daegan, Evalle accepts her destiny, but on her terms. She never wants anyone to see what she's become, especially Storm. Destiny is not a choice, but a summons. The hourglass favors no one.
My Review:
I absolutely loved reading these books! I've loved this series since the beginning, and I'm glad that it's gone on this long! I just wish that I'd reread the series before picking up these ones, because my mind didn't keep a lot of the details of what's happened thus far, so I know if I'd reread before picking these ones up.

This world of the Belador's and VIPER has always been so enjoyable! The different magics, and the politics and the personalities that populate this world, are always a delight to read about, and these latest 2 stories were just so good!
Quinn has been Evalle's ally from the beginning, and his story has been woven into this story as the series progressed. I loved having Belador Cosaint focused on him, and bringing everything that's been happening to the fore, and dealing with it! I had such a great time with his story!
Treoir Dragon Hoard brought it back to Evalle, and oh, that was such a great story! To be forced into this situation where there are no good options, well, Evalle has been through a lot, and I was rooting for her to find another choice! It was such a great read!
Loved reading these books, and I can't wait to continue on with this series!
