Teaser Tuesday #226, August 11th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Today's teaser comes from The Rules for Breaking by Ashley Elston, page 13.
