Week 44 Reviews: Three to Get Deadly, Four to Score

A "saintly" old candy store owner is on the lam - and bounty hunter extraordinaire Stephanie Plum is on the case. As the body count rises, Stephanie finds herself dealing with dead drug dealers and slippery fugitives on the chase of her life. And with the help of eccentric friends and family, Steph must see to it that this case doesn't end up being her last....

From Goodreads:
Stephanie Plum, Trenton, New Jersey's favorite pistol-packing, condom-carrying bounty hunter, is back - and on the trail of a revenge-seeking waitress who's skipped bail. With the help of 73-year-old Grandma Mazur, ex-hooker Lula, a transvestite musician named Sally Sweet, and the all-too-hospitable, all-too-sexy Joe Morelli, Stephanie might just catch her woman. Then again, with more mishaps than there are exits on the Jersey Turnpike - including murders, firebombs, and Stephanie's arch-rival bounty hunter chasing after the same fugitive - Stephanie better watch her back big-time if she wants to live to crack this case.

My first review of Three to Get Deadly, Four to Score
My Review:
It was an absolute delight to read these books again! I love this series so much, watching Stephanie deal with these bounties and dealing with her personal life at the same time is so much fun! She really is chaos incarnate, and so entertaining to read about!

Stephanie is always a hoot to read about, but this series wouldn't be what it is with all the other cast members, Morelli and Ranger, Grandma Mazur, and Lula. They really feel like real people, flawed and endless entertaining!

Plus her romantic life, both guys are pretty great, but since these were written over 2 decades ago, I doubt poly or why-choose was an option, though they are currently publishing, so that'd be interesting, to see if they would go for that...

The bounties, and mysteries, of these books are really interesting to read! Some people are really smart, some are not so bright, and some are just lucky, and get Stephanie and co. into some pretty hilarious situations, that I can't get enough of!

Loved reading these books and I can't wait to continue on with this series!
