OK, so I got 17 posts in 7 days, a decent week, and I'm almost caught up with meme posts, and I've written a few previously posted reviews, yeah. So I'm happy with this week! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read The Burning Sky, The Perilous Sea, The Immortal Heights, Scythe, Thunderhead, and Toxic Game.

Two teens must learn the "art of killing" in this Printz Honor–winning book, the first in a chilling new series from Neal Shusterman, author of the New York Times bestselling Unwind dystology.

A world with no hunger, no disease, no war, no misery: humanity has conquered all those things, and has even conquered death. Now Scythes are the only ones who can end life—and they are commanded to do so, in order to keep the size of the population under control.

Citra and Rowan are chosen to apprentice to a scythe—a role that neither wants. These teens must master the "art" of taking life, knowing that the consequence of failure could mean losing their own.

Scythe is the first novel of a thrilling new series by National Book Award–winning author Neal Shusterman in which Citra and Rowan learn that a perfect world comes only with a heavy price.

Rowan and Citra take opposite stances on the morality of the Scythedom, putting them at odds, in the chilling sequel to the Printz Honor Book Scythe from New York Times bestseller Neal Shusterman, author of the Unwind dystology.

The Thunderhead cannot interfere in the affairs of the Scythedom. All it can do is observe—it does not like what it sees.

A year has passed since Rowan had gone off grid. Since then, he has become an urban legend, a vigilante snuffing out corrupt scythes in a trial by fire. His story is told in whispers across the continent.

As Scythe Anastasia, Citra gleans with compassion and openly challenges the ideals of the "new order." But when her life is threatened and her methods questioned, it becomes clear that not everyone is open to the change.

Will the Thunderhead intervene?

Or will it simply watch as this perfect world begins to unravel?
On a rescue mission in the heart of the Indonesian jungle, Dr. Draden Freeman and his GhostWalker team need to extract the wounded as quickly as possible—or risk spreading a deadly virus unleashed by a terrorist cell. When Draden gets infected, he forces his team to leave him behind. He won't risk exposing anyone else. He intends to find the ones responsible and go out in a blaze of glory....

Shylah Cosmos's mission is to track the virus and remain unseen. Her enhanced senses tell her that the gorgeous man eradicating the terrorists one by one is a GhostWalker—and his lethal precision takes her breath away. When he's hit by a lucky shot, she can't stop herself from stepping in, not knowing that by saving his life she's exposed herself to the virus.

There's no telling how much time Draden and Shylah have left. Racing to find a cure, they quickly realize that they've found their perfect partner just in time to lose everything. But even as the virus threatens to consume their bodies, they've never felt more alive.

  1. Wow - I was lucky to get 2 posts done this week, lol. Enjoy your reading this week!

    1. I prep by having the meme post outlines done at the beginning of the year, for the whole year, so it's easy to have at least 12 posts, plus reviews for each book I read! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  2. You’re always so on-top of your blogging. I struggle to get things done the day before they post. Have a great week!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

    1. Thanks! I do have some blogging I'm on top of, but some slide, like comments. Which is why this is over a year late. Opps. Thanks for stopping by! happy reading!

  3. Nice to meet up with another Nalini Singh Guild Hunter reader, although the psy/changeling books are my favs.

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
