Week 36 Review: Kat and Meg Conquer the World

From Goodreads:
For fans of Nicola Yoon's Everything, Everything, Emery Lord's When We Collided, and Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl, Anna Priemaza's debut novel is a heartwarming and achingly real story of finding a friend, being a fan, and defining your place in a difficult world.

Kat and Meg couldn't be more different. Kat's anxiety makes it hard for her to talk to people. Meg hates being alone, but her ADHD keeps pushing people away. But when the two girls are thrown together for a year-long science project, they discover they do have one thing in common: They're both obsessed with the same online gaming star and his hilarious videos.

It might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship—if they don't kill each other first.

My Review:
This book was so fun to read! Kat and Meg were amazing characters, each with something that made life a little more interesting, Kat with her anxiety, and Meg with her ADHD, and yeah, their friendship was so cute and adorable!

I really enjoyed the fact that this is the same world that her 2nd book, Fan the Fame, is in. I did have to search to see if these two were in the 2nd, and yeah, they were, Meg saw on of SamtheBrave's videos, and got Kat to watch it! That's so cool! Oh, and they went to the con in this book, which was so fantastic!

In the beginning, these two didn't really even know each other. But being paired up for the big science project, well, Meg determines that they'll be best friends right away. That's the kind of person who she is. And yeah, really enjoyed watching that relationship grow and develop!

Each girl has to face challenges. For Kat, that's talking to people and getting on a plane. For Meg, it's dealing with her stepfather and that her fantasies won't always come about the way that she wants them to. I just really enjoyed reading about the two of them going on this journey!

Loved this book, it was a really fantastic read!
