Week 13 Review: The Iron Traitor

From Goodreads:
In the real world, when you vanish into thin air for a week, people tend to notice.

After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as normal as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for; his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he's forbidden to see her again.

But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, normal simply isn't to be. For Ethan's nephew, Keirran, is missing, and may be on the verge of doing something unthinkable in the name of saving his own love. Something that will fracture the human and faery worlds forever, and give rise to the dangerous fey known as the Forgotten. As Ethan's and Keirran's fates entwine and Keirran slips further into darkness, Ethan's next choice may decide the fate of them all.

My first review of The Iron Traitor
My Review:
This book was so great to read! I love this series so much,, and while I forget how things resolve, and how I'd forgotten so much of this book, I knew how things ended in this one, since it was such an evil cliffhanger. So this reread was needed!

This book is sectioned on in what was going on. Of finding Annwyl, of finding Keirran, finding a way to save Annwyl, and to reverse her banishment. Sometimes it felt like they were running in circles, but also, that they were headed to their doom. Bah!

But I really enjoyed watching Ethan and Kenzie's relationship develop, as he finds out just how well she fits in this world, of how smart and strategic she is with the fae and with bargains. They both have their strengths, and I loved it!

Oh man, that part with Tatiana? Well, the first part, I got very anxious. So I skipped ahead and saw what happened, and then I had to read the lead up to that, and oh, that was just awful! I mean, lets offer her up to the Forgotten Queen, because Titania doesn't need to be the Summer Queen anymore. Anyone with me?

Loved reading this book, and I need to finish off this series again!
