Week 14 Review: The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England

From Goodreads:
#1 New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson meshes Jason Bourne and epic fantasy in this captivating adventure that throws an amnesiac wizard into time travel shenanigans—where his only hope of survival lies in recovering his missing memories.

A man awakes in a clearing in what appears to be medieval England with no memory of who he is, where he came from, or why he is there. Chased by a group from his own time, his sole hope for survival lies in regaining his missing memories, making allies among the locals, and perhaps even trusting in their superstitious boasts. His only help from the "real world" should have been a guidebook entitled The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England, except his copy exploded during transit. The few fragments he managed to save provide clues to his situation, but can he figure them out in time to survive?

My Review:
Oh, I loved reading this book! I'm really so glad that I backed the kickstarter, because this was another excellent story, and I really had a great time reading this book! There were some really great pieces of humor, and it was a really entertaining story!

We start off with this character who has amnesia, iin a world that he knows is not his own. He's from a futuristic society, and this is like medieval England, but with a few differences. I loved this adventure, as he regained his memories, and got tangled up in what was going on!

The way the science works, with the various dimensions, and how that all works, with the different variety, and how they haven't time traveled, so these events don't change history...yeah, it was really clever!

I really enjoyed his journey, because he had this idea of who he was in his head based on some of his memories, but that shifted as he regained them, and he had to grapple with them, while dealing with this threat. So it was really great to see his growth! And oh, that ending! That was really great, though I would've loved a touch more detail!

This was a really fantastic read, and I can't wait to read the other 2 secret projects!
