Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
So today's teaser comes from Dearly, Departed, from my page 302 (I don't know what page it'd be in a physical book)
"There, in the shadows across the street, a zombie was shuffling past a pile of tin garbage cans. It was a young man in a highwayman's coat, it's hair held in a soiled ribbon."
Well, that sounds pretty interesting! I need to know what happens next!
And from my own book, Genetic Mess Up, page 2,
"Especially the ones into the thigh bone, whatever it was called. Those were an excruciating pain that just kept us out of the action for about a week-till the next round that we prayed would be different."
What about you guys? Happy reading!
