Follow Friday #246, July 29th

Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Follow Friday is hosted by 2 hosts, Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs! For more rules and how to participate, visit one of the hosts. Now for this week's question:

The Post Prompt: What is your take on DNF books. Do you review them? Choose not to review them?

I do a post as to why I didn't finish it, so it's a partial review, ish! I've only had it happen once though, so that's good! What about you guys? Happy reading!

Any or all. I'm not too picky, there's options!

  1. I've only DNFed 4 books since I started blogging, and one of them was a classic I tried reading again and just couldn't. I am one of those readers that forces myself to continue reading even if I am not liking the book very much. It is rare that I DNF. Regardless, I won't stop a book before the 40% mark. If I do stop there, it was atrocious. Either way, my reviews are just like my 5 star reviews: honest and fair, with both elements I liked and those that I didn't.

  2. I usually don't review books I've DNF since I've always felt that it wouldn't be fair to review a book that you haven't finished.

  3. I DNF books very rarely. I don't find the need to, I have gotten really good at picking books that work. On the rare occasion that I do DNF a book I let the person know in private, though after reading everyones thoughts on it I am thinking of changing my mind and saying something about the DNF's because they were really bad and would be good information for people on the fence about reading it.

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
