Week 31 Review: Anything to Have You

From Goodreads:
Nothing should come between best friends, not even boys. ESPECIALLY not boys.

Natalie and Brooke have had each other's backs forever. Natalie is the quiet one, college bound and happy to stay home and watch old movies. Brooke is the movie—the life of every party, the girl everyone wants to be.

Then it happens—one crazy night that Natalie can't remember and Brooke's boyfriend, Aiden, can't forget. Suddenly there's a question mark in Natalie and Brooke's friendship that tests everything they thought they knew about each other and has both girls discovering what true friendship really means.

My Review:
I just really enjoyed this book! I enjoyed reading about Natalie-if she read books more like I did, then I think we'd be pretty good friends, both awkward, and not really party animals! And then there was the whole being with her best friend's boyfriend. Sticky and sucky situation!

This was the story of two girls who were best friends, who both liked a guy around the same time and one girl getting him. Fast forward about a year and a half, and the other girl hooks up with him, gets pregnant. While the girlfriend was starting something with another guy. Yeah. It was a bit complicated!

I enjoyed how the friendships between all these girls were shown, Natalie and Brooke weren't the only girls in this book, there was Alexa, and Bethany and Morgan. Natalie and Brooke were the main ones, and those feelings of jealousy and betrayal, of not keeping each other's confidences, yeah, I really enjoyed how that was dealt with! Neither girl always made the right decision, and that lead to some consequences and drama!

The way that this story as told, was pretty awesome! We got Natalie, at the start of her forced "take charge of senior year" and some of the events afterwards. Then we got Brooke, from when they were first meeting Aiden, to what Brooke was doing in the important moments of senior year, and then switching back to Natalie after the timelines matched up. Which made for a very satisfying ending! It was very sweet, and it all worked out in the end!

Really enjoyed reading this book, it was another fantastic Paige Harbison read!
