Book Blogger Hop #328, January 19th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: Have you ever loved a book that everyone else hated or hated a book that everyone else loved? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I don't think so, I don't read books that I'm not interested in, so I've never hated a loved book, and I don't pay attention to books that are hated, so I wouldn't know. What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I don't really read books I'm not interested in either. However, I have pushed through a few classics that I ended up hating.

    1. Yeah! I'm not really interested in classics, just because of how much has changed since they were written. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  2. Same. If I like the sound of a book I will read it. Sometimes my head gets turned if I see a book everywhere on Instagram and sometimes negative reviews will make me delay reading a book.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. I know! I don't really pay attention to reviews, my own interest in the book is what gets me to read a book. Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  3. I don't really read books I am not interested in either. A book might come to my attention because others loved it, but it doesn't mean I will read it--unless I want to because it sounds like something I would like. I like most of what I read, but there are times that books don't live up to my expectations that other people loved. And there are books I loved that other people haven't liked as much--and I'm okay with that. I hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Yeah, just because a book was good for someone else, doesn't mean my interest is there. Thanks, I hope you did, as well! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  4. Yes, I've often found myself wondering why everyone hated a book and I loved and vice versa.

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
