Week 2 Review: This Woven Kingdom

From Goodreads:
To all the world, Alizeh is a disposable servant, not the long-lost heir to an ancient Jinn kingdom forced to hide in plain sight.

The crown prince, Kamran, has heard the prophecies foretelling the death of his king. But he could never have imagined that the servant girl with the strange eyes, the girl he can't put out of his mind, would one day soon uproot his kingdom—and the world.

Clashing empires, forbidden romance, and a long-forgotten queen destined to save her people—bestselling author Tahereh Mafi's first in an epic, romantic trilogy inspired by Persian mythology.

My first review of This Woven Kingdom
My Review:
Oh, I really enjoyed reading this book again! This time I listened to the audiobook, and I just love the narrator, she's one of the first ones that I listened to, and I loved getting this story again! I love these characters this world and I'm so excited to finally continue on with this series!

For what seems like short amount of time, a lot happens. We really get introduced to these characters and the stakes, why they shouldn't be good for one another, but there's still that attraction between the both of them. They're both just on the start of their journeys, though and I'm so excited to see where they go from here!

One, I hated the situation that she was in. The way she was treated was abysmal, even though she was working herself to the bone. He's a prince, and he hasn't had anything that shakes him up, so he's been privileged, and boy did he have some lessons to learn, and I'm glad he was open enough to take them to heart! I need more growth from him, though!

Oh, but that ending! There's so much going on, reveal after reveal, some things we knew, some we didn't, and I hadn't remembered it all happening, it was just a thrill ride! Now I really need to know what's going to happen next!

I had such a great time reading this book and I can't wait to continue on!
